This morning I kicked off the install of BB Music on my 9800 and by the time I walked into the office my BB keeps resetting itslef 3/4 of the way through the booting process. I tried holding down the escape key after pulling the battery in order to get into safe mode, but this isn't working.

    Any suggestions?

I am at work and can't install BB software on my computer because archaic/demonic IT policies.

If I were in your situation I'd probably take out the battery and leave it out for a good ten minutes then try it again. Otherwise, I can't see any other way around this other than reinstalling the OS.

Once I get to a computer how will I be able to load the new OS without the phone being in safe mode, as it never finishes the booting process before restarting.

On my BB9800, I had all kind of problems when trying out BBM Music when it was out on beta .
Current install with the new release is all good and quite happy and impressed with this app. Building up my library now and 2 months free trial is good!
Perks of BBM and staying with BB despite all the doom and gloom

I installed BBMusic this morning and have an infinite loop as well. I have tried BBSAK and am now trying JL CMDER but its not looking good so far...

I was able to take a backup of my COD files using BBSAK. I then installed the OS again and activated on my BES and everything is back to normal.

I need to reinstall my CODs now, though.

    I love my BES!

It ended up being stuck in a infinite loop all day. I had to flash the OS when I got home.

Works fine on my Torch ... Installed just fine as did all the beta versions. Simply, you may just have too many apps on your phone.

The same thing happened on my Torch, and I was quite upset since I couldn't use the phone all day as I had downloaded it on my way to work. I ended up having to reinstall the OS on my phone because there was no way for it to go into the home screen.

^ that is a very long sentence

Bbm music has had some glitches since it's launch but I am very happy with it.

I use it almost daily. For the first time today I used it via bluetooth it my other car (it's a garage queen). Very smooth!

It bricked my 9800 with the re-boot loop also. i had a different carriers OS installed and thought that may have had something to do with it. after multiple OS installs and versions I never could get it to work. Then I started getting the same issue even without reinstalling BBM Music. I ended up having to buy a new phone. BBM Music works great on my 9380.
