    Is it possible to turn off vibration when I am inside BBM and chatting with someone. It vibrates on each new message. I don't want to turn off vibration for BBM entirely (still want it to vibrate when I am not in BBM).

    You can customize a certain contact's notification to override profile.

    Sounds like you want to disable the notification for the BBM and for a particular contact profile. I am not sure that is possible.
