You just save the file after you create it and send as an MMS. They get exported as .gif files.

Just to add:

I was initially trying to do it through BBM itself. Nope. So here are the steps:

1) Open BBMoji app
2) Choose and tap the BBMoji action/animation
3) Tap Save to Gallery when the menu pops up
4) Open your SMS/MMS, attach media from Recent (choose your saved BBMoji animation)
5) Send ☺
