    Please help, my whole family uses BBM and we cannot get it to switch over to BBMe. I have gone through the set up and get stuck on the screen shot below; it does not give me an option to subscribe. I tried to set up as a new user with my old account and it tells me that account already exists so it at least "sees" that. I have not tried a brand new user set up but I am not sure how to even try given that I would have to use the same email address. Any thoughts?

    If you have ever used your BlackBerry ID for any other enterprise service, it will not work and will require you to create a new ID. I ran into this issue and could not remember ever using any sort of enterprise service but then remembered the old BBM meetings back in the day on BB10.

    The below is email I received for support:


    It looks like your BlackBerry ID was used with a previous Enterprise service and due to security reasons you will need to create a new BlackBerry ID as you already have done.

    Log in with your new BlackBerry ID on the device that your subscription was purchased and you should be able to restore your subscription.

    You will need to re-add your contacts as well.



    If you want to use the same email as before, you can take the following steps:

    Login to https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/

    Change current a@a.com (locked out) BBID to use a different/disposable email address b@a.com.

    Use https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/ and create a new BBID with your existing (locked out account) a@a.com

    Login on the device where the subscription was purchased with the new account a@a.com and restore your subscription
