    You know you can do screen shots on the PC with CONTROL + ALT + PRINT SCREEN, I will dump the screen to the clipboard and you can paste it into a photo editing application or MS Paint if you dare LOL.

    I believe it should work with most modern versions of Windows.

    EDIT: You are not exactly VERBOSE with the instructions for Sachup.

    What is mean when you just got the BlackBerry load screen and you press the screen and it just keeps saying 100% but nothing else happening? Should I disconnect USB?

    EDIT ok it is finished, went to check my software version and it says that I am 10.0.10.116 (default OS version).

    Not really sure what I did wrong, I followed the instructions as best as I could but they weren't verbose as they could had been...

    1. Go to Settings -> About, and read your Model Number (e.g. STL100-1)
    2. Open Sachup and change the Model to that of your phone (If you have STL100-1 TRY BOTH STL100-1 #1 and STL100-1 #2 model)
    3. Change the Country code and the CarrierID using the codes from the list at the end of this post
    4. Set Mode to Upgrade
    5. Download the firmware via Sachup, it will create a folder full of .bar files inside Sachup's directory
    6. Open Sachibar, and drag the folder with the firmware files into Sachibar, as simple as that!
    7. Wait for Sachibar to finish updating the OS. It should take some time: from 30mins up to 1hour for the whole process to be completed. So just wait patiently for the phone to reboot
    8. Enjoy the updated OS!
    STEP 5 OK you don't really explain how to download the firmware via Sachup - it appears you want to press the "Download All" button.

    Q: How to find the ID of the carrier who offers the latest update for my model?
    A: We will keep an updated list of the carriers ID who offer the latest update here, or you can try looking here! :

    Z10
    STL100-1 (and EMEA, except Germany, Limited Edition Devices): Country: 226 CarrierID: 010 ---> OS version 10.1.0.2312
    STL100-2 (and USA/Germany Limited Edition devices): Country: 234 CarrierID: 010 ---> OS version 10.1.0.1720
    STL100-3: Country: 302 CarrierID: 220 ----> OS version 10.1.0.1720
    STL100-4: if you have this model and you have a better firmware send me a private message to help me keep this list updated!!

    Q10
    SQN100-3 (and DevAlphaC): Country: 234 CarrierID: 030 ----> OS version 10.1.0.1720
    Is there a way to tell what the Country and Carrier number should be by the Firmware you are using?

    Well I am not that worried (lost no sleep last night) but seems ODD that I went through the trouble of the update and my phone seemingly knows nothing about it.

    I have SQN100-2, running 10.1.0.2011.

    Any update beyond that? With benefits worth the risk / efforts? I'm having the WORST time getting Link to sync. Is there a patch for this issue, as I've been reading everywhere about? My Link version is 1.1.1.32

    Thoughts?

    No, Claro PR is stuck at either 10.0.10.648 or 10.0.10.672. If you want 10.1 that badly, get one of the myriad leaks available.

    Although, it astounds me that a carrier that isn't Verizon doesn't have 10.1 yet...

    Guys, I made this guide so that you didn't have to wait for your carrier to release new updates

    You don't have to wait for your carrier, read the guide, just use the codes which offer latest update for your phone model, download with Sachup and update with Sachibar

    why leaks? There's no need to install potentially unstable software...just follow the guide, and get latest update for your model, in a carrier-independent way
    No need to use a SIM from another carrier, just use a different code in Sachup when looking for updates

    If I remember correctly, Q10 files are interchangeable, so you have two choices for latest. One is numerically the highest, being SQN100-3 OS 10.1.0.2309 (Country 226, Carrier 010). The other has a build date a month newer than .2309, being SQN100-1 OS 10.1.0.2121 (Country 310, Carrier 150).

    And the latest Sachibar firmware grabber too, pls....

    Thank you thurask... I've got Sachesi Alpha 9 downloaded, but everytime I hit Search, I get "Success. No updates were available." Quite odd....

    I'm downloading 10.1.0.4543 right now off of Mega.....wondering if anyone knows whether that's the debrick or in-place set of files....? And from what I've read, this is the smoothest one yet - can I assume it's a later build than the 2309? My Verizon Q10 came w 2038 installed.....

    And also I'm gonna remove my SanDisk 64Gb micro SD to make my link backup process shorter. I know I had to format it with the BlackBerry to be recognized, so, will this be an issue when the new OS is loaded?

    Sorry to sound like, well, I AM a noobie, so....
