Thank you for these. Lots of times I prefer to read something instead of watching a video demonstration.

I read in a different thread, that you can use bluetooth to complete the transfer.

Thanks, I put it on my PlayBook. Too small for the phone. These old eyes need it to be PlayBook size.

Greeting Sanj, not too sure what you are asking... If you transferred your information from the 9900 to the Z10, nothing is erased from the 9900.
The information is transferred and you still need to wipe the 9900 if you want everything erased.

Plug the SIM card back into the 9900 all your information should be there.

Very true, but we don't know how long he had Z10 active for. Any new data won't be on 9900.

Save your Contacts to sd card, then transfer sd card to old BB and restore from there.

For Calendar, you'll have to look at syncing with a service, then sync from there on old BB.

For Notes, I assume you mean new entries you've saved in Remember? I'm unsure of file format as I haven't experimented at all. Email yourself the new Remember items. Ensure your server is set to leave items on server. When you transfer sim card into old BB, hopefully emails come through and format is workable.

This one - if the older phone uses newer than OS7 (I think) all can be done with the sd card

I'm pretty sure it's been noted but just in case, this can get to some people who didn't know.
    Discovered gestures :
Drag back button or browser tab button to the right. This will make it go back a screen and reveal the side tabs. Or it's for better accuracy. Swipe up during a call to ignore.
To just check the lock screen time. In one gesture, up from bezel halfway up and back to bottom bezel. Don't lift. It let you peek the time and re lock the screen.

This is called the Root Peek, since it lets you peek at the main menu of your current environment without needing to swipe back through multiple cards.
