My brother sent me a SanDisk 32gb card. I put it in the Z10 and nothing happened? Now, I also tried it in my computer and it did the same thing. I take it its a faulty card. Or is there something about a SanDisk that is different? I know it's a long shot, but thought I'd ask.

Nothing happened when I put the card in. I'm assuming it would recognize it and ask to format. Not sure though. First time doing such a thing. Thanks for the reply.

Inserted a new 64gb card and formatted with the phone. Seems to be working fine, but shows only 59.3 gb of total storage.

I had lots of trouble with san disk cards. Switched to Kingston 64 gb. Works like a charm.

When a card is working, what is supposed to happen when you insert it in the phone. Mine does absolutely nothing. (SanDisk)

Ok. Under device storage, I have a section for media card.

    Does your computer recognize it?

Is usb mode enabled? If so, the z10 won't be able to see the card.

Well, I went into settings/ storage and have USB on auto select. Not sure if that's what you meant?

He's asking if you have mass storage mode enabled.

Settings, Storage and Access, and right at the bottom of the page, USB Mass Storage. If that is on, you won't see the media card on the z10, or at least, I didn't until I turned that off.

At the bottom of the settings / device storage page I see a tab called device storage details. That is it. Card is in Z10.

Scroll down a bit more. There should be a toggle on/off for US Mass Storage. It should be off.

I'm running a SanDisk 64GB Class 10 card in my Z10. It both formatted and runs without any issues of any kind.

I tried scrolling down and it does not. My brother bought two cards. (SanDisk 32gb) He says his works fine and did see the mass storage on off toggle at the bottom of screen just like you said. For some strange reason, I do not have that option?
