I've updated my Z30 STA100-2 to 10.3.1 OS version and my cell network didn't worked .. lots of issues, So I tried to load 10.3.2 Dev OS and still same issues. Now I'm trying to go back to 10.2.1.1927 and getting errors like "This OS version is blocked from device". I tried to use auto-loader 10.2 exe files can still stuck on 10.3.2.500 dev OS. Please help me how can I go back to 10.2 OS production version??? 10.2 was working fine and now with 10.3 , all messed up

this is exactly correct. it was posted all over. you are stuck on this OS and that's it. you cannot go back to any other OS but reload the 10.3.2 one you are on. End of story.

From 10.3.2.500, the only OS you can go back is 10.2.2. Other than that, you should try 10.3.2.680 ; the OS is really stable, and some problems from 500 were fixed.

You can't revert to older OSs once 10.3.2 is installed. Only way is forward.

    Load this autoloader instead: https://drive.bitcasa.com/send/6tMMp...RmysTaSlsX2F0Q

this is complete crap... I've wind mobile and issues I found is it drops of signals all time ..... before on 10.2 I never had those issues. Why - Why - Why we can't go back to 10.2??? Blackberry should notify customers before OTA update about this that anyone who updates can't go back to old OS. This is crazy. So I will never be able to go back to 10.3.1 even?

    Nope.

As for why, 10.3.2 adds some security features with BlackBerry Protect in the case of the device being lost or stolen. With the inability to revert to older OSs without these Protect features implemented, this ensures that you have a working kill switch if your phone is stolen. As opposed to the thief reloading the OS (without knowing your BBID, which is now required) and getting a usable phone out of it.

So does this means there will be production version release update for 10.3.2 (hoping working well release)?
Another question - this 10.3.2 .... will it work on Wind Network? How can I check if my Z30 STA100-2 will work with Wind or not? How can I find Wind or any other carrier Band) and find what Bands available on my phone and see if my device will work or not on that network? And what are .asc file? Do i need them when using autoloader file?

10.3.2 will roll out eventually. It'll probably be newer than anything available now.

Will it work on WIND? That's more of a hardware question. If your current phone works on WIND, it'll still work after 10.3.2.

As for which bands are available on your phone/carrier, Google it.

And lastly, .asc files are just PGP signatures, and aren't important/necessary for installation.

Read the page where you downloaded the 10.3.2, you'll see warnings telling you it cannot be reverted
BB never OTA'ed the beta unless you are on beta zone, which had it's own warning as well
Why would you think using 10.3.2 beta would fix something when 10.3.1 was working for everyone else. Hint hint, it's probably something you are doing wrong or your carrier is incompatible

Sorry one last Question : What's the difference between - Software Release 10.3.1.1877 v/s OS Version 10.3.1.2726?
I am assuming all auto loaders contain OS Version, then where did I get this Software Release 10.3.1.1877?
How do i know that SW 10.3.1.1877 will work with 10.3.1.X/10.3.2.X?

The real Developer OS for 10.3.2 is build 159. I didn't think the block list went into effect until build 500 - which is a beta release, not a developer release.

Which build did the OP actually load?

And, using an autoloader, and starting over from scratch, of build 680 may be the only option.

Software release is the version for a given OS + a given radio file. It's irrelevant, and OS version is more important.

You loaded a leak and you are complaining about an error.

It's a LEAK it's known that you are taking a risk when you install it.

    You learn from your mistakes.

I know STA100-5 definitely works on Wind, here's more info about Z30 frequency bands: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...encies-850736/

But if your phone worked on Wind before, after a software update it should still work.

Sorry Chappy, this wasn't a BlackBerry OTA update! It was a leak that you, and only you, installed on your phone. No one else is at fault but you.

Now, take the informed advice of your well informed peers and load 10.3.2.680.
