    Hi all.
Last night I installed 10.3.0.1052 on a -2 model. (think that's it). I have spent over 3 hours screwing around with adding and fixing contacts, adding accounts and what not. This afternoon for some reason it wasn't detecting my sim. So I restarted the phone and when it rebooted everything was gone! Gone! All contacts accounts like it was a fresh wipe. Is this a problem with this leak or my phone. It's a loner from a friend. Mine got stolen from my room in Cuba a few weeks ago. It was a -5 on Rogers.
    Thx

It may/could be related to the leaked OS. They can be a bit wonky and/or hobbled in some functions. Also, it hard to say as you don't really know the history of the device as it is from a friend, I would suggest that you go with the official OS release at first (10.2.1.2126 "stock/oem version from factory), or the update that was recently released, and see if the device becomes stable/reliable. If it does become reliable and functions as designed, then you can try the leaked OS, and if the issues come back, you have you answer.....

If you figure out how it learned how to wipe itself please let me know. Me 3 year old is potty trained now but still wants me to wipe him. Would be great if he could wipe himself .

A slow climb to the top is always more rewarding. Sent using my BlackBerry Z10.

The same thing has been experienced by Z10 and Q10 users with the 10.3 leaks. If you do a search, you can find at least four other Topics in Crackberry discussing it. There aren't really any solutions yet, other than running the SDK.

so you never got it working? did you try the sachesi method? some seem to have got it to work.

Yes. My first install was with Sachesi. Then did an autoloader. Then thought it must need a security wipe. Then even tried creating my own autoloader. Nothing worked.

The first time, with Sachesi, it didn't wipe until the fourth or fifth reboot.

I am having the same luck (or lack thereof). I have a TMo STL100-3 Z10. I first tried the autoloader by running the .exe file and rebooting the Z10 at the same time. The next morning a few hours later my phone just restarted on its own and it was completely wiped out. I tried it again later that day to same results. Then I tried the Sachesi method and again the same thing happened. It wipes out after every restart, hard restart and battery pull. I will now try installing 10.2.1 to see what will happen, eventhough I tried installing 10.2.1 with Sachesi and when it restarted it was still on 10.3

Any of you guys tried sic wipe then autoload w/o restore? I've been doing with my devices lately and they've been running solid.

Not speaking for anyone else but I have not done that. I've come across it in the forums but haven't read much into it. Is it hard? 10.2.1 works fine though when reinstalled.

It's not hard at all. It's as simple as using an autoloader. I only started using sic wipe because when i used autoloaders it was a hit or miss for me with my devices. but now with sic wipe > autoloader > no restore from back up, i don't run into any issues. It's been good with me but some may have a different results.

Well I gave it try. Same results. It's like a factory reset every time it's restarted. I give up.
    Thx

Same thing happens with the new 10.3.1.632 leak. I tried all kinds of stupid things hoping i could flip some switch by going through everthing, It still wiped. I;m now downloading the developer 10.3.1.634 to see if it wipes on that one as well.

It works! 10.3.1.634 works. Email account stays, boots up with wifi and mobile network connected. Even the crackberry app remained after reboot. Now to download missing bars.

Thanks...I put 10.3.0.1054 on my Z10 STL 100-3 and it's doing the same thing.

I guess I'll try 10.3.1.634, as you seem to have had some success with it on the Z30.

    What's a "sic wipe"?

Nevermind about the sic wipe. Found it, installed it, ran it.

Then I installed the 10.3.1.634 autoloader, and this seems to have solved the "Z10 wipes itself with every restart" problem that you were experiencing with the Z30.

However, for some reason it can't download the high capacity media card driver.
