Okay so i have a new problem that I haven't seen in the forums (yes I checked so if this has already been solved then sorry the crackberry search function is a little vague sometimes ) my Z10 running OS 10.2.1.1925 is no longer connecting to my windows 7 PC properly. Whenever I plug it in it tells me i haven't completed setup and to disconnect and complete it. so i open setup and try to complete the setup but its already done *sigh*.
I would really like to avoid a software reload so that's kind of a last resort. also I have already deleted BB link and hard reset the device. any help you can provide is greatly appreciated, Thanks

What does the highlighted "it" refer to? Is it your PC or your device telling you to complete setup? How exactly is it telling you? A popup... where?

its the pc telling me to complete setup. it says it in a pop up in the bottom right of the monitor. the popup is from BB device manager

Have you tried restarting your PC?
That's been my most common fix when I've had issues connecting.

Try restarting the phone, while its plugged into the PC. It could be that the driver isn't properly installed. Also you can use Sachesi to make a full backup before you reload the OS then you can restore it after.

Or ok, I was just gonna add that you could have checked in device manager to see if the driver was somehow disabled then enable it. Hope you get through this time though.
