Unfortunately, this leak has not performed well for me. As reported earlier, Skype crashes even after reloading app and battery pull. Unit runs very hot and battery drain is horrendous & seems to be tied to CB actually - I believe it is consuming 50% CPU according to hogs. Perhaps I will try a security wipe, but I'm afraid I may have to uninstall.

Does anybody have it installed and working good on the Verizon Z10??
Yes. I've encountered no persistent radio, browser or battery issues.

I security wiped before installing the OS update. Initially, there was no carrier found. I rebooted, which solved that.

Strange. Thought it was only me.. without CB app in active frames, I had 42% after 9hrs. with the CB app in active frames, I was left with 17% after 10 hrs...

I put the radio from 2009 on top of this and that seems to have stopped the battery drain problem. That can be flashed non-destructively, which is nice.

I had the same issue of no carrier found. but that was also fixed with the reboot. I rebooted several times since and my battery is fair (as long as CB isnt in active frames all the time). I just cant solve the browser issue of freezing yet

Does installing radio files wipe the phone? Is it the same way as new os? Backup load restore?

Far as I understand, no it doesn't wipe the phone.

Radio flashing doesn't touch the OS it's on a different partition

Did you try turning "disk cache" off under browser settings developers tools? I had the same issue with the .1880 leak

Any updates on swapping the radio files and longer battery life? Is it still too early to tell?

    Thanks Kris.

Loading the 2009 radio has definitely helped and is non-destructive.

I am having issues setting up my yahoo account. It tells me to go to the browser and log in there. I do and come back to set up and still nothing. I have done a battery pull and I have restored twice. Work and gmail accounts work fine. I know I have seen people had problems with other older os'. I never had this problem with older ones just this one. Any ideas?

With the 2009 radio flashed (radio version 1917) on top of this I'm back to about 3% drain per hour with a mostly-idle (but with IMAP IDLE, VPN nailed, WiFi on and reading emails once in a while) device. That's comparable to what I was getting prior to this leak; this leak was running at least double that (and maybe more) drain for an idle device.

Too soon to know if there is a stability problem with doing that; nothing has shown up as of yet, but I won't know for sure for a couple of days. I had not had any crashes/reboots with either 2009 or this leak.

Running 2342 with 1917 radio, on Verizon.

One thing my z10 never did that it does now with 1917 radio. Lock into 3G when in low signal situations. I believe this is the fix for my GMAIL woh's. By locking into 3G I never loose connection long enough for GMAIL IMAP to disconnect.

So unless a leak is specific to Verizon, I will load 1917 radio on top of other OS.

    2009 is specific to Verizon.

1917 radio is from 2009 (and 1916), so that radio file is specific to Verizon

Not only do I find this drains the battery fast, but it also charges very slowly. Something strange must be going on. After 90 mins it's only at 40%. I'm thinking something must be running in the background using battery that wasn't there before. Any thoughts?

2 days with. 2009 and two reboots so far. I'm with VZW so looks like the new OS does not address the random reboots but it does reduce the number of reboots per day from my experience.

First leak I'm trying and I've got to say, I'm very happy with it so far! Downloaded it last night and haven't had a random reboot yet, though my settings menu would like to suggest otherwise. I noticed around midnight last night that it had a boot time of 2:20am listed but 2:20am came and went with no reboot. Just think it's random that it seemed to predict one, lol.

I've noticed that the initial boot time appears to be recorded at GMT and then adjusted to your local time zone. For example, my initial boot was at 12:10 am, but it showed as 6:10 am local time (I'm in MDT, so offset by six hours). I also think that is part of the problem with the "No information available" bug for boot times after the initial boot.

I have also noticed that when editing appointments created on the device after installing these leaks, the appointment says "created in Reykjavik, but displaying in local time zone" or something like that. I'm paraphrasing. Either way, something is wonky in the time zone settings.

I had this problem with a few of the leaks. For some reason you have to wait for several hours before you can successfully add a yahoo account. Going through the browser as it suggests will not make a difference. I have several Yahoo accounts and was sick of not being able to re-add them after installing a new leak, so I just got an Outlook account and had all my Yahoo accounts forwarded to this account. The Outlook account is much better as it works with push and has the "forever" sync available, unlike the Yahoo accounts.

clearing cookies/history etc and using private browsing seems to work... so 2342 seems to work find for me.. if the battery drains quickly again anytime, only then I'd force myself to figure to put in a different radio file. scared i destroy my Z10 trying

Kris it seems as if 2009 is a better build for Verizon units, would you agree to that statement. I'm only making this statement based on reading 30+ pages of comparison. Especially with battery life loss.
