Well, I hope the install settled in...

In the morning I installed 2009... downloaded 2342, then left the house for the day and got back installing 2342 which now had the night to settle in....

Let's see how it goes .
I did notice that the installer archive got a little bit smaller. BlackBerry needs to be careful that they don't accidentally end up adding oat to the OS with their fixes or extra functionality.

Anyway here is my test result..

    1. Battery life: BAD compare to 1880
    2. BBM : BAD compare to 1880 or slower compare to 2009
    3. Most of my setting up after clean install not as smooth.
    4. Device changes apps which sync between my iPhone and Z10 also seems to be slower
    5. Missing BING and SLACKER from 2009
    6. WIFI seems to be weaker

Dunno.. I feel like going back to 2009
I think about bing and slacker, you can find them in app world > my world > available apps

i seem to be getting really good battery life with this. was reading through the forums here on cb through the cb10 app, and the battery was barely draining. havent tried playing angry birds or anything yet though. idk, it seems as if battery life is way better in this version than the stock os i was on before this. im on tmo btw.

Ok been running for a day to let things settle. 10 am UK I'm starting a battery test.

One thing noticed in the compass. Finds your location just fine but shows no compass needle - no good if you use the compass when in deep forests etc. Luckily I know where the pub is though for today :-)

Mms works and my stand alone LTE is back after the swipe and restore. I am finding the battery draining faster and staying warmer too.

Mine rebooted 20-30 min after everything was set up.(2009 and 2342)
Freezing on my charger , reboot...
Went back to 1916 no more problems
RubenDM: still no random reboots on .1916 for you after more then 1st 24 hours? see http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...ting-problems-...

I tried .2009, did not fix my overnight and 2-3x during the day random-reboot issue on a 100-2 (Vodafone NL)
My carrier informed me they are fully aware of the issue and awaiting for BlackBerry to release an OS update to fix this, timing unknown

If you still have positive experience with .1916, I will test later today if it also fixes the Dutch 100-2 Vodafone-NL issues me and other Dutch Z10 owners are still experiencing.. thanks!

No reboots here with 1916 Vodafone NL 100-2. But now I'm trying 2342 anyways.

On vzw and this leak seems to be the one that has fixed my reboots. My phone use to reboot on average 5 to 6 times a day and at least once over night. Happy not to have the problem so far!

Btw I side loaded some apps this time. Haven't side loaded since the day the phone came out because I thought that was the problem.

Finally, my lock screen is different then my background! I can't change it though. I can provide pics if anyone cares to see.

No reboot ever since I gotten my device from my carrier. There must be something wrong somewhere for those having reboot issue.

one would assume its software issue as recent builds have fixed it for those of us having reboots. That said, Im not sure if a software fix, could fix a hardware issue? Either way, you're one of the lucky ones

I don't want to jinx myself, but so far I have not had my nightly reboot (2 nights in a row). This is pretty significant because my phone has rebooted overnight on the charger since I got it on vzw launch day. My only "issue" so far is that I seem to be missing some memory. With everything closed, I'm only showing 820 mb. This is compared to the 1.2 gb I saw at initial startup.

Same for me with Verizon. It seems like that's the only problem that seems to come up when using 2/3 leaks on Verizon phones, and it doesn't happen all the time. This one, it would tell me the messages were sent, but they didn't actually send. 2009 was pretty good, I'm going to stick with that. Reboots be damned.
I must say that it is worth it to update to 10.1.0.2342

First reboot on my -2 (T-Mobile Germany) after nearly 24 hours. Fresh and clean install, no additional apps, just one EAS. Maybe Ill give 1916 a try...

I'm getting incredibly good battery life with 2342. I last charged my Z10 yesterday at noon yesterday. It was about an 90% charge and 19 hours later I'm at 45%. I never noticed any improvement with 1880. I skipped 1916 and 2009. This is outrageous.

Only installed this leak yesterday morning, just over 24 hrs ago. I did a clean install without any restore. Added 2 activesync email accounts(set to 30 days), twitter, Facebook and ever note. Reinstalled my apps which I don't have a lot of (see screen shots below). Yesterday I Took it off charge at 11am at 100% by 7.30 pm I was at 8%. Usage included about 12 pics taken, maps, browser and CB10 and I travelled a lot so went through some terrible signal areas. Didn't text or call a lot. For the first day of a new OS i'm pretty impressed. For me it's normally day 3 after install before battery improvement is noticeable so can't wait to see how good this gets.

I can confirm there is no MMS on Rogers and my phone will only say 3G, where as on previous builds it would switch to 4G and LTE. I have not made any long distance calls yet, but probably will by the end of the day.

Only other bug I've noticed is if I have 5 active frames open and I'm looking at the last frame on the 2nd page, when I close that app it will not automatically go to the top page it'll just hang there.

One positive thing I've noticed besides the fluidity, for the most part, is that Remote File Access is working for me over the cellular network. Before it would just show me a blank screen if I was on a cellular connection or a public wifi network.

I'll keep using this build but may need to switch to a lower build because of the MMS and long distance bug on Rogers Z10's.

I tested mms with my Rogers Z10 and can confirm that it does work for me. Also my network settings screen shows LTE and 4G/3G

Ansell Halim #680 I had the same issue previously, all I did was to reboot and the charging went to 100%. Maybe that will work for you?
next time if this issue persists all you need to do is:
    1. just unplug the charger (even though the status is at 99% but basically your battery is at 100% charged so don't worry too much about it)
    2. or.. unplug the charger, and plug that back in after 5 seconds and let the phone settle, it will show 100% charged after that (as the battery is recalibrated).
