Had a random reboot on my Z10, was about 45 minutes after loading this build. Z10 was sitting on my desk syncing and charging, looked over to see the boot screen.
Carrier is GiffGaff/O2 in the UK.
Have flashed the 1917 radio file and did a battery pull.
Was my first ever random reboot, hope it doesn't happen again.
Was running 2009 before, was nice and stable too.

Is the Contacts app on this leak fixed?
I was having problems with renaming contacts and copying them over to my SIM Card. If I link a contact to their Facebook account, it would rename their name with another existing one on my list.

To clear this up, to fix mms and network issues.

    Security Wipe
Than if you have a back up reload back up

The reasoning is that a autoloader can fail to 100% clean a device especially as often as we are flashing our phones. Just like a computer and BlackBerry wanting a mobile computer experience our devices OS can fragment. Bits and pieces of the OS and Radio files are left behind eventually causing issues with devices like some of us have seen. A security wipe will in fact act like a fresh install of Windows in a sense. And you'll start fresh with all errors and fragments cleaned

Hi Kris, can you verify whether the security and reload blocked out your APN settings? I believe the member who posted this work around said that it blocked his/hers but that wasnt a feature that they needed. I need to be able to edit my APN settings so don't want to go through with this process if they'll get locked out again.

Also, the whole Rogers network issue (which I'm also experiencing) , is that simply a labeling issue but not one of performance? If the signal strengths are still the same but it's just showing the wrong abbreviation on the top left hand corner, than I can live with that and won't bother with the security wipe if it means losing my APN settings.

    Thanks!

Kris, if you're going to release your hybrid for general consumption, where are you going to post it?

I will probably post it in the Hybrid 2342 thread I already have started

Yes it re locked my apn settings. It was wrong abbreviation plus no MMS support due to that hiccup

No comments on connecting to an Exchange Server? I tried it, gave me the same problem as the last leak, and now reverting back. I need the Exchange functionality working, that makes or breaks the OS for me. Surprised none of these have this working correctly without using SSL for the Exchange server.

    Pritesh
Last leaked released that i've found that works w/o ssl for the slt100-4 is 10.1.0.1483. Blackberry has a kb on it so maybe it will be changed/fixed in one of the future releases I hope !

Thanks for the quick response. I'm okay with the wrong abbreviation and never use MMS (BBM and WhatsApp are my tools of choice for IM'ing pics) so will live with these two issues if it means preserving the ability to edit APN settings. Hopefully there will be a future leak that takes care of all three issues. Wait, what day is it? Saturday? Guess that means the next leak is only 6 days away!

Do we have to wipe it before or after installing the OS?

After 12 hours use, I am happy to report NO random reboots so far. I always have 2 to 3 the first day running a new leak. The reboots usually diminish as the week progresses. I debated whether to even load this leak because I hadn't had a reboot for a couple of days. I don't have any other issues. Everything is functioning as it should, but battery drainage is definitely worse.

I have it working as well, but the keyboard issue still exists, you can't use special characters and the space button doesn't work. I think we need an updated Android bar file to be released to fix this problem.

What's the benefit of doing this? You like the 1880 radio better? How do we go about adding it to our already flashed device with this leak

    Posted via CB10
Just run the radio.exe file and it will flash over the this leak's radio,
I'm trying this out to see how the battery goes.

So you guys are saying the radio file of .2342 is draining the battery and if we replace it with the radio file of 1880 it will last longer? Can some one please post a link of the radio file for 1880?

Well some reported that the battery is not as good as 1880 so that's why,its more like for those with bad battery life to get better,

And you can find the link probably 1-2 page back I posted or go in kris's thread for it

Another HUGE annoyance with the most recent couple of leaks :
When opening the overflow action menu, it takes a few moments for the "open in" item to populate, which means that the menu changes once it's open.

If you're working quickly, you aim for a menu item and it moves out from under your finger causing you to hit another, incorrect, item.

    This is really bad.

There's also the 10.1 problem of auto correct not working when using a closing double quote mark.

Previously, if you typed 'tset"', you'd get 'test"' on the space bar. This no longer happens, so words at the end of a quotation are not corrected. Trailing parenthesis still work with auto correct, but the quote thing needs to be fixed.

I didn't install 1880 so I can't compare but battery life for me improved tremedously compared to official 10.1

Thanks Kris, I see a radio file for 1881 not 1880, is this the one that has better battery life? .2342 doesn't seem to have enough juice in my batter too bad!
