This is different. On T-Mobile US I am now getting "Network Technology " options that show them as LTE/HSPA+/UMTS...." where I used to get LTE/4G/3G...(I think). Home screen now shows H vs 4G previously. Think I liked the old view of "faux G" better as it made me feel faster even though probably no speed difference. A pull of SIM card and reboots did not change anything.

Thanks for lbfe and Kris. Here is my bug report:

    1. At one point the day view of the calendar doesn't display my appointments from a Gmail account (CalDav) , while the weekly view and monthly view displays it. The HUB agenda also displays it. Refresh doesn't fix it, restart calendar app doesn't fix it, but re starting the phone did the trick.
    2. When restarting the phone, it seems to take longer to get HUB prepared.
    3. One poster reported earlier that he had slower side loaded app experience, I second that.

That's what I have noticed so far, none of these problems are deal breaks. I am on Rogers -3.

.2009 was great for a day on my VZW device, and I was going to stay on it... but I just caught the red light reboot warning signal coming on a second ago... and sure enough, enough motivation to keep installing whatever latest leak is out. Would love for one of these to be the magic update that finally solves that annoying problem.

Starting to feel like maybe those who say it's a hardware problem are right.

I'll wait another month or two.

I'm not sure that there is a bug with contacts. My phone contacts doesn't show all contacts I have in my address book but I realized after a while that only contacts which have a phone number saved show up through the phone app. But maybe you're talking about a different bug.

    Posted via CB10
It's definitely a different bug, because I am talking about contacts with phone numbers not showing up in the contacts under the phone app.

We will see when I do a restore when the next OS leak is released if it comes back.

Ok, so just installed, everything went like a charm, EXCEPT, my radio won't turn on or recognize the network. I am on Verizon. Ae you sure this was for an STL100-4 phone? If so, what do I need to do to fix it?
    HELP!!!
I had the same problem. But after changing 'network technology ' from global to lte/cdma a couple of times, it started working without any further issues...

Two new things that come up during setup......

    "Applying Regional Settings"
    "Applying Carrier Updates"

Could it be that Blackberry will be pushing updates out themselves sometime in the future ?
I've had that now for a while. Is BB10 available in your country? It wasn't until after BB10 was officially announced in Thailand that I started tor receive these as well during start-up after installing a new OS, but it could be coincidental.

Be curious to see what others have to say on this point.........

I had a similar issue last night where some of my most used contacts weren't pulling down pics from Facebook. I deleted and reinstalled my Facebook account several times, but there were always a couple that refused to populate. In the end I decided to switch off wifi and try it one last time over my network only... and that worked perfectly. Every contact pic populated fine. Maybe just a fluke, but worth a try in future.
I decided to give that a try with my Facebook contacts, just for the sake of seeing whether or not it might actually fix something. Turned off WiFi (ended up on LTE), deleted and readded my Facebook account, then watched the contacts repopulate. Unfortunately, I'm still having similar issues though.

I have this as well on mine too. I'm running STL100-2 in Thailand. I always had 2G, 3G, 4G. For a while there were a few leaks that took away my 4G, but it came back in the last few leaks. Today's is the first where it changed to the different verbiage.

Update: I tried yet again, and this time just let it reboot over and over while I took a shower. When I got out of the shower, I saw that after the 7th reboot the autoloader finally started to install the OS. The rest of the installation was without any problem.

The restore was also "smooth", i.e., it went according to the pattern I've seen in the past. In case it's of any use to anyone:

    1. Put phone in airplane mode.
    2. Start full restore.
    3. Let it stall at whatever (If it stalls. Mine tends to stall at 12%).
    4. Cancel the restore on the phone. Then close Link.
    5. Reset the phone (still in airplane mode).
    6. Start up Link again and do another restore.

At this point, the restore proceeds to 100% without a hitch. When I do the first restore, only the device PIN appears in the Link device tab. After I cancel it and start Link again, the device name appears there, and it goes smoothly. I don't know if these details are related, but I thought I'd throw them in, to sound like I know what I'm doing.

I also don't know how many of the steps above are voodoo; I've just found that this is what works on my Z10.

Thanks for the leak, Ibfe! And thanks to all others for suggestions of help. I can now go to San Francisco and know that when I return to Philly in two weeks I'll be about three leaks behind!

    Is it a two-week vacation or a three-leak vacation?
Wow. This "voodoo" method worked for me. I was stumped. Was having issues restoring with Link (never had before) and these steps did the trick. Much appreciated. Very odd. Thanks!

Now... time to enjoy me some 10.1.0.2342 love.

You will have to get an Android phone to have this feature. BlackBerry isn't Android, it's BlackBerry, and if I where them I wouldn't want to play Google anymore more money than I have to for infringing on their icons just so the battery can work and look like theirs. LOL
More like any other phone that isn't blackberry right now. IOS does this as well. Not sure about the new Windows Phone OS but I'm sure the option is there somewhere.

Can someone check the radio file and include which STL you have? Settings > About > OS

My radio file stayed the same (10.1.0.1917) when I went from 1916 to 2009. I'm wondering if it stays the same again and if it varies by STL model. I'm on STL100-4. TIA.

I know this is completely inconclusive, but I was very pleased to see that after installing 10.1.0.2342 I woke to a phone that had not rebooted in the early hours of the morning. This has happened every night for quite a while now.
