Yes, I too have experienced the very same battery performance improvement after a few days of regular use. A burn-in period is a decent term to describe it.

This is not my first go at leaks or hybrids on a BB. For the most part, this leak has been fine. My battery life however, was crap for a few days and then today - back to the same level of battery drain that I had on the 10.0.10.85 OS update. It's almost like the OS needed a "burn-in" like what we used to have for the hybrid OS's? Has anyone else noticed anything like that? Something I didn't expect with the BB10 OS?

My first dull day with 1880. Did not fix random reboot. But incredibly better battery life.

I updated to .1917 leak late this morning. Did this mainly to stop the random reboots... no less than 5 minutes later after finishing, the .2009 leak appears...too funny, but, 1917 appears to be working well so far.

just updated to .1880. I know .2009 just came out, but the DL was slow and didn't want to wait. just 2 annoying things:

Yahoo email won't connect now (via Hub) and I wasn't able to back up app data through link. So, I lost all my book marks.

Hmmmm, installing the OS, and the phone is restarting, it's been an hour now after reboot and it's only at 95% of the startup logo... loading, but extremely s l o w to start up. Still waiting... didn't have this on the previous leaks or the 10.1 carrier update. Normal?

*EDIT* Pulled the battery.... fired right up, no problem.

Now my backup restore gets stuck at 54%... twice now
Try to restore backup one by one.

After spending the last week playing with the 2342 and 2354 leaks, I am now back on 1880. While the other two leaks had a smoother UI (absolutely zero lag or stuttering), I just could not accept the decrease in battery life compared to the epic marathon performance of 1880.

The whole APN settings deal still astounds me though -- 1880 they were locked. 2342 unlocked. 2354 unlocked... until I did a security wipe, then they were locked. Went back to 2342, locked. Now back with the 1880 and they are locked again. Something's definitely up but I just don't have the tech savvy to identify the root cause. I'm wondering now if coming back to 1880 will bring back the awesome battery performance that I was experiencing last week. Guess I'll find out over the next couple of days!

Hello, new here and felt like I needed to move from my old Bold 9900 to a Z10 now I have a problem I want Skype preview and ATT really sucks when it comes to updates. Can I load this into my ATT Z10? if so would it make other apps incompatible ? Ive load OS on my bold before not sure how much different this would be. Many thanks in advance

I went back to 1880. My phone was dine for awhile then it started heating up. It for so hot one day that I had to turn my phone off, remove back cover and battery and let it cool down for 30 mins.

Downgraded back to 1880 the same day.

Made the move from 1880 to 2354 earlier this week and have no regrets. It takes a couple of days to settle, but after 48 hours or so you get a smoother OS with equivalent battery life. Definitely worth the switch.

    Edit: AT&T Z10

No reboots on this leak and my battery is fantastic unless I use maps.

Still sad about the change of efficiency on the keyboard. Keyboard became a little ******** compared to. 85. Just need to get over it.

    1. Yes you can.
    2. No, it won't
    3. It's different, but not that difficult. If you follow the guide on this thread (I think it's page 6 or 7) you can do it with relative ease.
