Alright, this is what I'm currently running, and thought other people might want to give it a shot:
All thanks go to Darcy and Sacha for making this possible, Kris and Lbfe for getting 10.2.0.228 out, and BlackBerry for making these files. All I'm really doing is posting it.

As always, you fully assume all risk for using any files that are posted by strangers on the interwebs. Said strangers and sites containing the information are not liable for any damages you incur, real or imagined.

    Instructions:

    1. Download Autoloader containing 10.2.228 Core OS and the 10.2.0.340 Radio. This Autoloader was made by splitting the Leaked 228 Autoloader and the Z10 341 STL100-3 Dev OS. I used the STL100-3 specific radio, but I believe it will also work on the STL2/3. If you don't trust my file, feel free to download the necessary OSes and split/combine them yourself.
    Autoloader-10.2.0.228OS-10.2.0.340_STL3_Radio.exe.zip (1.04 GB)
    https://mega.co.nz/#!xp1RCbRS!enlhnG...hCLTMAiDOB8iX0

    2. Sideload the other apps, minus Android Player/Shell and BBM, from the Z10 341 Dev OS using your favorite sideloading program. If you don't want to split and extract the autoloader, you can get the bars from:
    10.2.0.341-apps.zip (257.9 MB)
    https://mega.co.nz/#!p10knYaD!etXmkG...L39y9XSuHQ0gWY
I don't know for certain that all these are updates, but sideloading them does not stop anything from working and I don't believe anything is downgrades.
Selectively installing is of course optional.

3 (optional but recommended): get the latest BBM Beta from the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

Update: if you're already running 10.2.0.228, you just need the .bars (step 2) and the radio from the leak. Here's the STL100-3 radio in Autoloader form (should also work on STL2/3):
    Autoload-STL100-3-10.2.0.341-Radio.exe.zip (26.9 MB)
    https://mega.co.nz/#!A5sW0L5C!RPwLjD...ultPHGO7nW43YE
If you don't want to download the 260mb zip of 341 bars, Leigh posted a zip of just the ones that are updates: https://mega.co.nz/#!zgwj3YDS!URzUA2...QbOk7pAN0yCE7w

    Downsides of doing this:
I can't get BlackBerry Link to restore my settings/apps/media.
    Android player is still 2.3.3

    Upsides:
Full 10.2 with most recent apps and such available.
    BlackBerry World Works
Seems super fast. Can't speak to battery yet.

If you have questions, just post them.
Wu-Wei (Leigh) can confirm that this is working well, and created the same hybrid at about the same time. However, I believe right now he's trying to get the Dev OS fully functional (which is also being attempted in this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...00-1-a-818405/ but does not seem to be possible, and never has worked with any Dev OS before).

I will try to respond to any questions, but I am a bit busy these days studying for a rather large and important (and expensive) exam I have in July.

For the restore issue, been looking into it, it looks like the restore app is built into the OS and cant be migrated from an earlier version. Anyone else having restore issues, or is this an isolated case?

If you have the leak installed, you just need to do a non-destructive flash of the radio I think Kris made an autoloader for the radio?

Can we get this for Q10 (or can we use this followed by flashing the appropriate radio for a T-Mobile Q10 (SQN 100-5)?

Also, MEGA asks for decryption key???

What's the difference between the radio that comes with the leak and the one that you are using?

EDIT: found the radio file on kris his thread and flashed it

Sideloading apps now, was already on the Autoloader-10.2.0.228OS-10.2.0.340_STL3_Radio.exe as someone said it would restore after a security wipe (sooooo not the case) so why not try a 3rd os load in one day

Your auto correct put Kyle instead of Kris, but thanks for sharing!

It might work if you use a Q10 radio in an autoloader rather than a Z10.

Tried this, but be buzz, batt guru not working fully. Sticking to Z10STL100-2/10.1.0.2354 with side loaded clock, camera. Still getting prompted of 11 mb update this morning without damage to clock app.

The .93 clock gets 'upgraded' by carrier update. 228 seems to stick around.

I can confirm that this mix works well (340 Radio with 228 core OS). I identified 23 (I think) files from 341 that were updates to the versions included in 228. That included the two android bars which, we have learned, do not work on the 228 core OS. When sideloading those updated files, five of them threw errors during installation.

Rather than continuing to mess around with that mix, I tried loading up 341 core OS and sideloading in the 36 files that were missing, taking those from 228. That mix is on my device right now, but it has seriously limited functionality (to me, at least). The Android apps I've sideloaded run phenomenally well on the new player.

My plan for this afternoon is to go back to this build (340/228) and get the 341 updates sideloaded.

As for battery, the initial setup performance was typical: running hot and draining fast right after install. However it cooled off sooner than I've ever seen, and overnight idle was impressive.

I can also confirm the difficulties with the restore process. When I moved from 10.1 to this mix, I was unable to restore my settings. My expectation is that a restore from my current 10.2 ought to work fine.

@SCrid2000, How about Android runtime 4.2.2? Will it work?

I already have 10.2.0.228 running with .340 radio, should I just get the bar files from step?

good work by the way and highly appreciated.

is a security wipe necessary after everything has been sideloaded?

    Thanks Leigh.
If you have a zip of only the updated bars, I can substitute that for what I posted.
I actually had problems restoring a backup from this build when I reloaded my OS this morning to fix the android player bugs that came from sideloading the 4.2 android player. Hopefully others will have better luck.

    Shouldn't be.
In fact, I tried a security wipe this morning and after 45 minutes or so of it just sitting there, I gave up and did a hard reset and ran the autolaoder.

NO! The 4.2 Android Player WILL NOT WORK with anything lower than the Dev OS. If you sideload it, you will have to reload your device to get the Android Player working again (just downgrading back isn't enough).

Have you tried extracting That particular
.bbb file with a extracting tool such as 7-zip, then rewriting the software in that backup file to show up as 10.2.228?
