I currently have on an stl100-4 and I was wondering if there are any versions of 10.3 out yet that are just as, or similarly as, stable as 2.1.2976. My main concern is inoperable features.

Any discussion of the nontrivial risks of upgrading to a 10.3 version is welcome.

Also the search function of these forums using the cb10 app is suboptimal.

I would recommend you wait for the official OS to release!

I'm currently using as my daily driver. The only stability issue I have with it is that when wifi on when you are not connected to a network, it drains fast. Also do not upgrade to, battery life on that one is crap all around. Other than that you're good.

I have the z10 on Verizon and I tried the 10.3 leak. I had to downgrade to the official OS because of the following.
1-flicking does not work all the time. All the proposed fixes for this issue Do no resolve this problem permanently.
2-sluggish performance. All clean installs and security wipes did not work. I'm not sure if people have lower expectations or what but it's not smooth as butter. It's more like smooth as crunchy peanut butter.
Other than that I can't wait for a better leak. I had leaks that where as stable as an official release so I would recommend waiting a little or if you feel like seeing all what the leak has to offer then really what would you lose except for few hours. A Lot of people seems to like it enough for everyday use. The risk is very minimal. I had installation that went bad before and all I had to do is plug my phone to BlackBerry Link and reload the entire OS

I downloaded the Z30 leak and radio. Seems slow..sluggish. I'm not a pro at installing leaks. I installed the leak and it rebooted and all looks good. But.. I didn't do anything wth that radio file... was I supposed to run that too?

I have tried three different leaks on my Z10 STL 100-3...

With the exception of the last, the Z10 wipes and erased all apps/contacts/accounts etc with every restart. However the could not successfully download the SDXC memory card driver and so could not recognize my 64gb card.

I ended up wiping and reverting to which did successfully download the media card driver and will just have to be very cautious to keep the thing charged and hope that blackberry releases an official release soon.

The overall 10.3 experience and UI is far superior to 10.2. But given the reboot and wipe issue I don't know that I would do this again.

I ran for a little while and it seemed Ok.

Yesterday I loaded that new leak. Had some issues. Deleted a Gmail account to add it again and ended up with a duplicate notification profile for deleted account. Never could get rid of it. And my notification sound for that account would not trigger no matter what. This being after adding the account back.

Also the keyboard feedback sound did not seem to be as loud as the volume I had it set to. Almost like it was stuck at a low volume.

A big issue was BBM acting up. Becoming non responsive.

I used an autoloader. Restored nothing. Set everything manually. So that was not the issue. Oh well.

I've rolled back to and it's all working great again.

Consider that the 10.3.0.xxxx OS is not designed for the Z10. 10.3.1.xxxx will be. So I will wait.

I will add that I am not a fan of all the flat design stuff. Seems like an over reaction to me. Fixing something that's not broken.

I am on Verizon by the way.
