Unfortunately that won't happen unless a carrier releases the OS and it becomes available via Sachup. A bar file simply cannot be extracted from an autoloader at this time. The information required to re-create a bar file is not in the autoloader. That's the reason why we had to do things this way. It's backwards, but it's the only way at this time.

More technically speaking, a bar file is just a few files, but is signed. That signing tells the blackberry device that the code it's about to load is valid and hasn't been tampered with. Once it has been loaded the blackberry doesn't need to keep the signing info, it may, but I doubt it does. So even if we could extract the individual files that make up the app they'd have to be re-signed before they could be loaded.

When you're talking about an autoloader, the signing is for the entire OS, including apps.

Maybe some blackberry developer who has access to the code signing process might eventually figure out how it's done, but it won't be for a while. It's a new device and it takes time to figure out some of these things.
I gotcha. Thank you for the explanation. I got spoiled with the sachibar install. The auto loader method is a lot of work. I've done like the last 5 OS'but for this hybrid I don't feel as motivated to try it since the last os was/is so good. I might change my mind though as it appears that new Facebook app upgrade per the icon finally has the instant messenger in it.

Just downloaded all the files, including sachup, but have to go out. I am going to think about this while I am out, this is a little more complicated than just running an autoloader. The Romanian leak, aka 2354 is running great and Kris is teasing us with 10.2. Decisions, decisions.

Don't know but to me it seems this more of a update about looks, just set my alarm and I noticed that it is more orange, and when you tap on the orange circle to set the alarm then in the circle ( don't know the exact word for it) appears a little clock, maybe it was there on earlier releases but I just noticed now

The differences arent noticable, but all apps are updated. Browser (10.1.0.70 to 10.1.0.326) Facebook (10.1.0.78 to 10.1.0.88), android player, and so on. The list is huge and best found at the http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...per-os-812962/

The only exceptions to this are
    pim.email.card
    pim.email.composer.card

which are the 2nd download required to get email working properly.

And of course the core OS itself, changes to which aren't usually visible anyway.
Sorry, forgot the Facebook app is visibly different (I'm not a big facebook user), but I haven't found anything else.

Not sure whether anyone noticed, or whether it is really that significant, but the upgrade files from 2354 included 2 facebook bars: 10.1.0.74 and 10.1.0.98. I don't use facebook much on my device, and I never thought to try sideloading that bar before I installed my own hybrid. The odd thing is that the 10.1.0.74 file is 10,641 kb and the 10.1.0.98 file is only 2,702 kb.

Is there a thread about completely wiping all data from z10. My memory seems to be fuller than it should be after installing leaked OS's?

I ran the autoloader then did a security wipe and checked my 'other data' category...before and after the wipe was 4.3GB so I don't think it doesn't anything...hopefully I did it wrong and there's a better way to get rid of some of that data

The 10.1.0.98 has a description of "The FacebookShareTarget application" so it appears to be what's loaded when you Share something to Facebook.

The main facebook app in 2354 is still the 10.1.0.79 or 78 or whatever it was

Thanks for all your work guys. Lovin' updating my Z10 a few times a week. Am I right in assuming that the two email bars can be sideloaded using PlayBook App Manager in Chrome? I don't have experience with Sachibar but use PBAM for sideloading Android apps.

Up and running without any issues at the moment. Did have a little problem with the initial setup with it holding a connection to the wifi, so I reloaded the autoloader and rebooted my access point. 2nd time around it worked fine, but seemed a little slower aquiring some settings like language and checking for updates.

All email accounts good to go after loading the email bars. Remote file access is working fine as well.

Good job home team - Kris and DarcyTallGuy

I think you have to use Sachibar.exe loader...same thing though, drag and drop them into the window. Worked for me. Download here: AdF.ly - shrink your URLs and get paid!

Yeah, I think there are apps I've loaded or old OS hidden somewhere and they are not being deleted when I wipe.
