Good work sirs. I'm going to wait for the next one. The last build was too good for me to go macguyver on my phone. It would be delightful though if someone could post just the bar files for the new Facebook, browser, etc.

Unfortunately that won't happen unless a carrier releases the OS and it becomes available via Sachup. A bar file simply cannot be extracted from an autoloader at this time. The information required to re-create a bar file is not in the autoloader. That's the reason why we had to do things this way. It's backwards, but it's the only way at this time.

More technically speaking, a bar file is just a few files, but is signed. That signing tells the blackberry device that the code it's about to load is valid and hasn't been tampered with. Once it has been loaded the blackberry doesn't need to keep the signing info, it may, but I doubt it does. So even if we could extract the individual files that make up the app they'd have to be re-signed before they could be loaded.

When you're talking about an autoloader, the signing is for the entire OS, including apps.

Maybe some blackberry developer who has access to the code signing process might eventually figure out how it's done, but it won't be for a while. It's a new device and it takes time to figure out some of these things.

Yes, one is for composing emails, the other is for reading emails. Both are required

More specifically, .363 is "The EmailComposeCard application"
    .366 is "The EmailCard application"

On 2009 now. Good and stable on my Z10 Verizon.

Liked the speed 2354 had. I assume that continues in this latest one. Also do not want the reboots to return.

Anyone running it on a picky Verizon Z10?

Thanks for making these available too.

Thanks. I won't be able to do this until I get home this evening but I will give it and try and let everyone know.
Should be able to if that radio file worked with OS 2354 before. Only one thing to do... try it and let the rest of us know.

what do people mean by individual SMS notifications? Like if I had 8 unread SMS messages it would have 8 SMS icons on the notification bar?

Edit: Or do you mean the pop up on the screen for the text message? That would be annoying.

I think they mean a bling sound for mom's sms, a honk for the wife and a siren for the babysitter

Oh in that case that goes under the entire notification system. Where we need custom LED notifications as well. My phone ends up being silent the majority of the time anyways. Not supposed to have it on you at work. You get in deep crap even if they hear it vibrate. Military. Meh.
