Just thinking, we don't see leaks since JC shut them down. Would we just be happy if there was a fully working leak?

Given the mythical properties that the CB rumor mill has bestowed upon 10.3.3, I don't think so.

NIAP is a security standard, right? Given we're talking BlackBerry here, not Apple or Google, just how insecure would the "beta" OS be if all it lacked was the NIAP stamp? Apple was NIAP qualified and had three ugly zero days, one of which allowed remote rooting, so this all seems kind of pointless. Or the NIAP story is just some excuse.

Given there are supposedly no substantive changes in 10.3.3., would it even be worth it?

Actually, it's been a refreshing change not to see a flurry of threads asking for help after bricking devices with the wrong autoloader, or asking how to get data back after using one.

We get the downgrade threads instead, though.

To the average user--no. Unless there are some browser updates of any sort.

I agree. Leak or official, besides the ones who loaded the dev OS, it will bring nothing but confirmed angst to the growing #chenlies crowd.

I think all it will do, if and when it's released..... it wake up a few people to the fact that BB10 is not going to get any better than it is today. It's all downhill from about 20 months ago....

The browser has a new anti-phishing feature and security and TLS fixes. So the browser does get a little bit of improvement: a new feature and better site compatibility meaning less security warnings.
There's also a few new NFC features though I doubt the average user would care about that.

All those "let's encrypt" certs are not in the root store. I tried adding the DEMs and couldn't make it work. I'm hoping the browser will have a few tweaks.

Agreed. The Chairman has given his word that BlackBerry 'actively supports' BB10 despite not releasing any software updates for it for months. And who are, mere mortals, to second-guess the Mighty Chen?

BlackBerry are dedicated to the support of BB10. So much so that all new features for BBM are supported on Android and iOS only.

BlackBerry 'actively support' BB10. What do you want 10.3.3 for? You've got Chen's word for it. Stop complaining

I think people are expecting there to be vast improvements and a new look which will leave them disappointed. Then we'll get to see them complain all over again!

Guys, Chen said months ago that BlackBerry is committed to BB10.

That has been backed up since then by months of no software or app updates. BB have demonstrated their commitment to BB10 beyond a shadow of a doubt.

    What else do you want?
