    I have same issue for all my BB10 devices : Q10, Z10 and Z30.

Reboot, security wipe, delete wifi setting, all did not give any solution.
But data services off, I can connect to wifi network. It seems that mobile network is prior to wifi network.
It is not fundamental solution, but it helps.

ah sorry all are aware of that !

My Z30 can't recognize the 5G wifi in my home for whatever reason, maybe I should try another radio version

Well my dad tried the reset with no luck, is he tried reloading the latest radio with no luck. Now that neither of those have worked, he is going to downgrade the radio to 1899.

Hopefully that resolves his disconnects and also makes sure his WiFi is on when he turns his device on in the morning if it was on when he turned the phone off.

Since AT&T came out with a 10.2.1 update (finally) my dad logically upgraded to that since he is on AT&T.

Even with the new 10.2.1.2274 radio, the phone does not turn on the WiFi when the phone is turned on, even though WiFi was on when the phone was shut down.

Aside from performing a factory wipe, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get his Z10 to automatically turn the WiFi on when it is cold booted?

I got my BB Z30 on March 15 and a coWorker got his the same day. Our wifi tells us we have limited access - it is ALWAYS searching for wifi even when it is connected which is not often. It is not the router because I have my old iPhone side-by-side to our BBs and the iPhone has full wireless. If BB is connected at all it has one bar.

This sounds like a blackberry issue - and it is next to impossible to contact blackberry - is there a fix for this or have we made a mistake by going BB?

I have this issue too, the only workaround for my device is to switch airplane mode on/off

To clarify, that post is about the limited WiFi issue, not with the WiFi remaining off after a device power on, even though it was on when the device was powered off.

I was going to ask if this was just affecting Z30's but I saw a posting from a 10 user. Just my 2 cents, I have seen the "limited Wi-Fi connectivity " message maybe 4 or 5 time since I got my Z10 (well over a year ago) and I found that if you open the Wi-fi connections options, turn it off then immediately turn it back on connectivity is reestablished and the error message is deleted from the hub.

My OP was about spotty coverage (not the device reporting "limited WiFi") and the WiFi not turning on when the device is powered on (when it should). When I say spotty, I mean my dad's phone is randomly showing no WiFi connection at home and work all when it should be connected.

Several people have added to this thread about their seeing "limited WiFi", but again that's not what I was OPing about. I'm happy to add that scenario to the mix because it may be related though.

As a follow up to my dad's spotty (not "limited") WiFi and WiFi not turning on when the device is powered up (when it was on when the phone was turned on) I wanted to provide an update.

He upgraded his Z10 to the OTA release from AT&T , but the problem persists. He called AT&T and they told him (for whatever it's worth) that several people have been reporting similar issues with the update. Their recommendation is from him to wipe and reload the device.

I told him if he was going to wipe the device, he should Link to re-pull down the official AT&T release just to make sure there were no remnants of the Vodaphone release I stuck on there with Sachesi.

He claims my mom's Z10 (which never got the Vodaphone release) upgrade to the official AT&T release and has not exhibited any WiFi issues like his Z10. This one is certainly a head scratcher and hopefully the wipe will bring his device in line.

    WiFi issues with 10.2.1.2102?-img_20140501_080156.png

I get limited connectivity all the time, very frustrating. Sometimes my phone will bring down the entire wifi network and the router needs to be reset. I also have noticed that I am unable to connect to 5G wifi Band, only can connect to 2.4G.

Often when I get home I look and I am not on wifi,i have to open settings and reactivate a wifi profile which was magically disabled. Hope they release a software update soon because this situation blows.

Also, If you turn data services off, wifi works like a charm.....wonder why?

Either that or a bad phone (hardware) . If you get the same problem over and over consistently through out different OSes and every trick in the book didn't work then that might be the case.
