    Hi,

Recently some of my saved Wifi connections seem to automatically disable themselves from connecting. I tried to toggle them back on but every time I hit save, nothing happens. I know that they will automatically disable after many failed attempts to connect or some other errors.

Although I may be on a leaked OS (10.2.1.1055), this has happened on official OS releases before (e.g. 10.2.0.1791).

Any insight on the issue is much appreciated!

    Thanks.

First question would be, did you e-store settings? If so this is probably the issue.
Delete the saved network and reconnect..

Yes I did restore from a backup (including settings) and I have tried your suggestion already but it still doesn't work. It's very frustrating bc my school has Wifi but I can't connect to it.

I would suggest wiping the device and stating over fresh. If you restore do not restore settings. Settings restore has been a common cause of most issues with the OS leaks.

I have this problem with the wifi at work. We got so many routers / ap points all over the place that the phone cannot switch over fast enough when I walk around (or something like that) so after a while the software disables it and I have to reenable it. Had the same problem in my z10. Now with the z30. Could be our it setup, but then again everybody's else's android, apple and legacy BlackBerry doesn't have this problem. I end up using my 9900 as a Hotspot. Instead.

Z30, and yes, it's a bit on the heavy side..., but the Carbonate case is Killer!

Have the same issues on my Z30 (Which I love..) - seems every time I move from office to home and also whenever there is an interruption of wifi service I get 8-15 messages "wi-fi network disabled".. drives me bonkers... Isn't there just a way to disable the message? Or only allow the phone to connect with "known saved wifi connections" rather than running through the gamut of potentially avail networks?

Question for those this is affecting. How many saved wifi profiles do you have? Right now they are trying to see if there is a tipping point in this that is causing the problem.

I've seen so far on devices with 15+ wifi profiles, but not less

No ! I have my wifi in G mode and it has still low range in comparison to 10.2 so there is a wifi lower range in 10.3.1 which hasnt been reported.

This is not a factor that would cause this. I've never restored and this has occurred. Just re-enabling the profile works and on very few occasions deleting and re-creating.

WiFi is broken in 10.3.1. Just, horribly broken. BlackBerry is on the case though and we can expect an update fixing the issues by October 2047 at the latest.

I've had it on pretty much every 10.3 build. However, it has happened to me only once so far on Q10SQN100-1/10.3.1.2267. I have 9 saved profiles including that goofy all numbers one that shows up by default.

Great news! Can I borrow your phone? We could probably draw up a rota for sharing it with the 100's of other posters here who have broken WiFi as a 'new feature' on 10.3.1!

    Thanks mate!!

/Seriously though, I've rolled back to 10.3.0 on my Q5: working much better now and no overage fees.

Isn't the same bug as the other WiFi one? Wasn't this related to the radio? Can't remember the error message on top of my head but yeah...

I've got a WiFi network which covers 2 houses on my road with 3 different access points. Traversing between the two I get perfectly handed to one and another. I'm on the global release candidate of 10.3.1.2243. Not once has this happened, I always had this issue with my Z10 though, I would suggest to try another radio. It used to help when I did that before, and no I cannot remember which... been out of the 'game' too long .
