Can someone point me to the settings tab for enabling wifi calling on 10.2. I'm on 1047 if that makes a difference. I know on the leaked MR updates it was baked in but we needed to use the .bar file to change the settings. I thought I was able to do this without the .bar on 10.2 but I've installed so many leaks I really can't remember, lol! Thanks for your help! And yes I'm on Tmobile

The radio file from 10.2.0.810 is the only one that I've found that works with wifi calling. However it doesn't work exactly perfectly. You can't turn off wifi calling without turn wifi completely off. Also if your on t-mobile USA, you will find sms errors when you send text messages, however they do go through.

    However it does work sorta...

You can side load the app found in this forum with a search however everything is greyed out on 10.2 so it is useless.

Actually it is not useless nor grayed out if you sideload the 810 Radiobar. With the bar you get the icon at least so you know it is active but to disable/enable wifi calling you have to toggle on/off WIFI.

However as you said it doesn't control the wifi calling. You do not need the app to have wifi calling because it works without it.

1047 with the 810 radio caused callers to hear echoes over wifi so I had to roll back to 10.1.0.4780. This morning I tried 1371 with the 810 radio and couldn't get calls to connect in either direction. It's disappointing, too, since 10.2 brings a lot of UI improvements.

If wifi calling is important then I'd recommend 10.1.0.4780. The 810 radio file breaks 10.2.

I am on tmobile 1047, my wifi calling works perfectly for me. No echoes at all.

What radio file are you using? If 810, what process did you use to load the radio?

Any issues with "General Problem" errors with SMS messages?

What device are you using? While the Z10 can use the latest updates with the .810 radio the Q10 cannot because it wasn't released for it. The latest we can use is .483 with one of the 10.1 radio's.

Everyone in this thread is on a Z10 per their profile info. You're the only one on a Q10.

Oops. Well if crackberry updated CB10 then I would be able to see device info in the profiles.

Thanks all for the replies... my experience is that its not working. It may switch automatically but its just not for me although I may be misreading and I dont have .810 installed. I was in a no service area all week this last weekend and just ended up roaming on ATT. Wifi calling was definitely not connecting as I tried with my radio both on and off! Hopefully they continue working this into the 10.2 builds ;-)

I posted the latest version of WiFi Calling app I have found in my thread:

As far as I can tell, only 10.2.0.811 radio file supports WiFi Calling, and results are not reliable enough for me to stick with 811. I like playing with new toys anyway.

Thanks for the update, Wu-Wei -

I have returned to BB10.1.0.4828 with .4829 radio, because I MUST operate my Q10 via Wifi, since it's a T-Mobile Sim and I'm in Toronto.

I'm surely looking forward to being able to switch up to 10.2 when it will become reliable for Wifi Calling!
