I recently installed 10.3.1.632 (the latest leaked) on my Q5 SQR100-2. Everything went fine, but now i'm experiencing this problem. When i'm near the router it's all fine but, as I go in my bedroom, the Wi-Fi instantly drops and my phone switches to 3G connectivity. Is this a bug anyone else has experienced? Is there a solution?
    Thanks in advance.

Same here, doesn't disconnect when I'm right next to the wifi box but if I move say maybe 5 steps away from it then when signal drops the connection drops even though i'd have like 1 or 2 bars

Edit : security wipe didn't fix neither did reloading the os

I wiped too, and didn't solve anything. Also reinstalling does nothing. I wonder if SIC Wiping will possibly solve this, but I doubt it. It seems like it's a Q series bug only...

OS 10.3.0.1154 is a full OS from BlackBerry Production server, this is quite stable on q series and hope one
may able to fix the issue with this update.

I'm not talking about 10.3.0, which is, in fact, very stable. I'm talking about OS 10.3.1.632, which was leaked on BlackBerry's Developers Site some days ago. As you said OS 10.3.0 is great on Q series devices, but 10.3.1 is experiencing this problem.

I was gna try extracting the radio file from the autoloader then sideload it over probably won't make a difference but might try that later on

So 1154 radio works fine with 10.3.1? That's great! I'm going to try that, but i'll have to redownload the autoloader... I accidentally deleted it.

Did you try with the 10.3.1 radio, or with the 10.3.0.1154 one?

Edit: Didn't see you were the same who posted the previous post, my bad! Anyway, it's still worth a shot, and, if it doesn't work, at least we tried.

This is a rather well known issue with BlackBerry altogether. Since I've moved from Barnsley to Cardiff, I've not had this issue. Just bear with it, the issue will eventually go

Installing the 1155 radio on top of 10.3.1.632 did actually solve the Wi-Fi issue! Great!

I used to have amazing WiFi range on my Q5 with 10.2.1. Loving the 10.3.1.xxx leaks, but am experiencing this issue on the last few leaks I've installed (10.3.1.1016 installed from autoloader, then later 10.3.1.1154 installed through the Blitz method in Sachesi). Is it still happening for others?
