this is why people are repeating features from 10.3.0.296 i guess. I don't even notice a difference except for a more consistant UI, fully working intelligent assistant (before it always worked for typing but was spotty for voice) and blend app lol. No pins which is nice I guess, I don't really notice them anyways.

1052 just dropped yesterday. A lot of things were fixed. No pins showing is one, video editor now works is two, etc, etc, etc...
uhh video editor worked on 296 along with alarm and everything else

I haven't seen anything new from 296 ->1052 except for what I listed earlier in this message.

There seems to be a huge wave of interest in .1052, and largely from those going from 10.2.X to .1052. This seems odd since the official release of 10.3 and 10.3.1 are just around the corner, and, .1052 is not significantly different, in my opinion, over the first 10.3 leak that so many of the "leak happy" crackberry users seemed to have ignored.

I keep reading tons and tons of "bugs" and "issues" with .1052 and I am left thinking these have been known with 10.3 since the first leak. Where have you been?.
Because it took several months but finally BlackBerry fixed the terrible and inexplicable watermark bug!!!!! They finally succeeded !!!!!!

EDIT: public disclaimer. You see what I have written above...?!? It is called sarcasm....

hopefully you are being sarcastic with the watermark "bug" and it's barely noticeable. It's just annoying when it shows up on screenshots.

So the 296 is a full OS just with watermark and buggy Wolfram? I read somewhere that alarm and vibrations doesn't work.

Whatever may be the reason, we were waiting for it since May and we have got it. Virtually, there was no leak after 10.3.0.296 which was leaked on May 12.

I think people were pretty excited about Intelligent Assistant.

Personally it's a big deal to me since it's my first experience with a leaked OS.

it was 100% working not sure what you read but it sounds like you were reading the sdks or the sdk/296 hybrids. Blackberry disabled that in the sdks which is why it didn't work.

This is the main reason why i went back to 296 from .700 because of alarms not working.

a lot of people are making the mistake with intelligent assistant and wolfram. wolfram just gets the stuff off the internet/smart questions. Naunce is the recognition. There are other things that i won't get into.

Just think of intelligent assistant as a proprietary blend and wolfram is just in the mix.

I've actually seen less people report bugs for 296 vs 1052, which is odd. But that's like 10.2.1. 10.2.1.1055 was my favourite build. I'm sure 10.2.1.3xxx fixed a lot though. (i haven't tried 10.2.1 since 10.3.0.140 so i haven't had a 10.2.1 build on my phone for 4-6months). I'm running 1052 with no bugs at all though.

Of course I was sarcastic.....!!!!! 10.3.0.1052 is awesome and of course it is not a bug but an intended feature for internal builds that usually is removed after the .1000 iteration

To answer the question... it's a post 1000 build.

I haven't loaded it yet, but will later today. A lot of us were probably just waiting for a build after 1000 to finally jump in as a daily driver.

I know others have made do with earlier releases on a daily basis, but not all of us have the time to do it right. And there were still things about the earlier leaks (or SDK) that I couldn't do without. So I waited.

Besides, I'm on a Z10, and there will be no "official" 10.3.0 for it. I'd have to wait even longer for 10.3.1 to land.

I'm an AT&T user, so that means about mid-2015, and I am NOT that patient.

Same here, waiting for evil empire to release a OS is like going to the Dentist for a root canal.

Tons and tons of bugs and I've yet to come across one that effects me. How is that even possible?

296 may have gotten in the mix of the incomplete/unstable OS of the 700 and the hybrids. And not all would like to go that route coming from a comfortable 10.2.1 / 10.2.2. If not for the rave of the 1032, most will still not take the 10.3 plunge.

Until the assistants name says he's not wolfram, he will be called wolfram. Or alpha. Or marflow.

Like I said. That is a smart question. Meaning it will take data from wolfram's database. Hence it saying the name is wolfram.

I don't think that will change anytime soon.

You can actually download wolfram apps or go on the website. You will get what I mean a bit more.

If your a CrackBerrian you gotta give it all a try otherwise you just as well fire up your BlackBerry and sit and read business newspapers while waiting for a new official release.
If your in the US though you just as well make funeral plans while your waiting for the next official release lol.
