I think the biggest thing about this leak is the lack of bugs and less lag.

This is definitely ready for prime time.

There is one serious problem I've found thus far -- access to unified files (e.g. files on Dropbox) is shaky from Android apps; the picker from the file browser does not properly translate back to the app. This was working properly in 1259 and 1055.

Is the os not stripped of most features anyway since it is a devos.
This is not a DEV OS. This myth came to being when someone saw the word "DEV" on the autoloader cmd but in reality, it's been there ever since.

no dark hub in this leak. Also, there is different radio file (1899) for Z30. Normally, its practice radio file is one number higher than OS. Is it different radio for Z10 also?
    Same radio .1899

I think the big change here is greater APK support and the android share framework. Meaning you can share pictures taken from your native camera app directly to your "android ported" instagram and upload.

Thats a pretty big deal to me.

I want wifi direct support for APKs!
I can confirm this on my z10 with .1925. Pretty cool.

Exactly. That is just the term used for the autoloader. Nothing to worry about, it's always been there.

Yep, been using snap to load Google maps, netflix (which now works better than ever; ever since 10.2.1.x now adds direct hw support to android runtime), and LMI Central. I also tested Instagram, which I don't use, but it loaded, and candy crush.

Well done bbry team. Keep up the fantastic work.

I restored from 1259; I usually do not, but did this time and didn't have trouble.

The old practice of reloading all your sideloaded apps first, then restoring, however, no longer works to keep your Android app data.

    No issues.
    - device in airplane mode
    - backed up
    - ran autoloader
    - security wipe
    - restore

From .1259 and .1925, it does seem to randomize the grid size. Mine isn't always spaced out. I prefer it not being spaced out. Fewer numbers imo makes it easier to figure out. Never had an issue with putting the number close to the area, and accidentally unlocking.
I have now noticed that it is random. I have had it show more numbers once now out of about 20 times.

I wish they would add the ability to store/file more applications in a single folder.

It took forever for iOS (v7) to get this as well, so I'm not sure of there needs to be massive changes in code for this to happen. I just hope we don't have to wait that long.

I noticed last night with my z10 that the clock in bedside mode didn't dim any lower than the screen brightness setting. Everything around the red clock face went away like normal, but the clock itself didn't dim anymore than it already was. Before it would dim a little lower than what the brightness setting was. So if I had the screen brightness all the way down, the clock went even dimmer than that. anyone else notice this at all?

The ability to share as you described is already available in .1259. I noticed and posted the feature in the 10.2.1.1259 Leak thread the other day.

I am not sure if it was ever mentioned but in .1259 I noticed a bug in he hub - when I deleted junk mail the number of unread items would still appear. This would be in the hub folder and the gmail folder and even the alerts folder. Hopefully that will be remedied in .1925.

It should pop up the first time you try to install an app from Snap or an Android store.
