Since installing 10.2.1.1925 my z10 has been on steroids. Brilliant. I've downloaded loads of android apps from Amazon, Snap and 1mobile and they have been great, but my battery is not lasting a day even with minimal use. My 'System' usage looks high compared to other posts. The battery has been great up to now. Has anyone got any ideas about what is eating my battery? Help appreciated.

Had the same issue. Try to completely drain the battery until the phone dies. The recharge it fully. Helped me.

Agreed! Android apps, especially games destroy my battery life. Make sure that you are closing out completely the apps that you will not be using regularly. That might help!

    Good luck

Task Manager and other utility cleaners are an absolute with android apps. Make sure and run them after using any android application. I downloaded 1926/25 radio and the battery life is awesome. I have at least 20 android apps and probably 30 BBW apps that I use, some more than other of course, but on a regular basis. Today my phone's been in moderate use including an hour and a half at the gym listening to music, emails and texts, etc and it still has 80% left after 7 hours of use. I love it!

Try turning your phone off with power button and once off (and make sure it is off) take the battery out. Let it sit on the table for about 30 mins and then reinstall it. It may be that its in a state of flux from charging and needs to kind of "calm down" (LOL) a little. I think once you reboot it after sitting out, you may find that the drain is a lot less. Don't ask me why but a lot of us have been using this trick for years with BB's.
Android apps or any app for that matter drain a battery down. You might go to your device monitor and scroll through the apps to see what is sucking it dry. Lastly, you could painstakingly remove all the apps and reinstall one at a time to see what starts the drain. You can tell by the device monitor and find the app that is doing it. What'sApp is know for sucking batteries dry. Just an fyi. Good luck!

I noticed that my cell signal was switching a lot between LTE, Edge, and HSPA. I reloaded the 1926 radio with the autoloader. The switching has stopped and my battery usage is excellent again.

What carrier are you with? I have been reading that some leaked radio files are better for some carriers and not others. Could be wrong. I am having same battery issue as well on same leaked OS.

I'm in the midst of troubleshooting this myself.

Usually I get great battery life. It seems though that if I share something through LinkedIn, it causes PIM Services to spike a bit and stay high, ish. On the days that I've had good battery life, PIM Services is around 5.5%.

I've removed LinkedIn now and will be monitoring my battery life closely to see if that makes a difference.

It's too early to predict, but I am seeing something new.

PIM Services are now averaging 0.32% (I'm used to seeing around 5% on days when I felt I had excellent battery life) and my battery line is practically a flat line.

If this continues, I will be one happy camper. While nice, the LinkedIn app was not a must-have for me =D

Ok. Finally discovered that Android apps were the culprits sapping my battery and not 1926 radio as I had 1st suspected.

I noticed that my memory usage was continuously high - only having free memory of anywhere between 500-700mb - regardless what steps I took. As such, today I decided to delete a mixture of apps, but mainly targeting Android apps, including Tango, Instagram, 1Mobile, Temple Run 2, among a few others.

I was amazed to see my free memory instantly skyrocket above 1100mb. Since then, I've hardly had to charge my phone. Seems I'm back to improved battery life. :yippee:

If you are asking me I'm on t-mobile USA. My signal strength has greatly improved also went from 2 bars of LTE to full bars most of the time with this 1926 radio.

Upgrade to radio .1926 fixed my battery issue. Now I get 2-3 days (low usage on Wifi). I'm very happy with this OS and wondering why BB did not use CES to announce it.

Have you looked for android apps running in the background? This seems to be my problem with my install of 1925 "system" usage was very high.
