The other day I noticed an option to make a video call from my dial pad in the phone app. I haven't seen it since though. I did notice the option for video calling in the settings app though.

The day I noticed this was the same day Verizon announced their video calling feature. Does BB10.3 already support video calls?

    Edit:

Added screenshot of call screen with video call option

Wow! I wish you could of got a screen shot of the feature in the phone app. This would be really cool! I just looked at my settings and it says IMS disconnected? How do you connect yours? What OS are going on?

We have to wait for verizon to turn on VoLTE for this to work. I think they are still testing sometimes my phone try to do a voip/volte call and it fails have to reset the network to get it back to normal.

    My OS is Z30STA100-3/10.3.0.1154

The option to video call was on the dial pad screen in the phone app. The big green call button was split into two buttons. Video call on the left, call in the middle.

Ever since I've been seeing this video call option pop up randomly, I've also had issues with receiving text messages. I'm now wondering if when I get the video call option, that I then get bumped off the text message server (or however it works) until I reset my mobile network connection (airplane mode on and off). I randomly stop getting any texts messages until I do that reset, and I don't get a backlog of all the missed texts like I used to whenever I had a similar issue (rarely, but has always happened with my spotty service from Verizon near my home).

It's either a 10.3 issue or this "IMS Status" thing that has something to do with video and LTE calling.
