Also this works fine on 1154 for me on a Z30. Took me a while for the phone to ask for my VM password but all good now.

Steel or Job, either of you have problems sending group msgs? For me, seems as though if a convo is active, there is a small delay. If it goes a little while without a txt, I'll be looking at the red circle for about 7 to 10 min before the txt is sent. Anyyone with something similar. Sorry for topic change, but I know yas are on vzw.

Yes it does, however if you do core upgrade you will need to reinstall the VVM bar.

I don't use VVM and haven't side loaded anything except Snap, and I definitely have the delayed sms/mms issue. I think it's bigger issues with the radio file. Sometimes my 4GLTE becomes 4glte and I lose my data connection as well. I am able to immediately rectify the problem by toggling the mobile network off and on from the quick setting menu. Same goes for WiFi when I randomly lose the ability to see 5ghz networks; I just toggle off, wait a few seconds and toggle back on.

I should also add that sometimes I won't get mms that people send until I toggle the mobile network, then they all show up at the same time.

You're lucky they even come through. I, along with others, had issues once moving to 10.3 on Verizon only on the Z30. They only fox seems to be putting your SIM into an older BlackBerry and letting it boot and set itself up on the network. Then put the SIM back into your Z30 and let the Verizon network reprovision your phone.

Otherwise you're going to need to reboot a few times a day :/

Frustrating but finally got it! Running 10.3.0.1154. Tried to load sys.data.ecid538.vvm.bar using DDPB, do dice. Then tried using Chrome, do dice. Tried using Sachesi.....success!!!

Correct, note if you non destructive update your core os for some reason you need to reload the VVM bar afterwards.

Nah, but you will probably have to find the correct bar for your carrier. The full pack has them all I think.

I just spoke to Verizon able their free basic VVM, it's not available to bb10 yet, but hopefully it will be in the future. The guy I spoke to said it's rolling out to newer android phones as a free option.

How were you trying to install? Sachesi doesn't require anything special. Chrome only requires development mode, haven't seen the word debug token since 10.2 haven't used one since

EDIT: OK, after reading just the first post I see I need to side load the files from the 10.2.1 link that's posted. Sorry, I should have read before posting. If the mod would remove this post I would appreciate it.

Ok So after obsessing over not having this feature for the last few days I finally took the plunge and extracted ALL the VVM files from 10.2.1.3358. I expected the worst but hoped for the best. So. since there are a good bit of vvm files I decided NOT to test them 1 by 1 but to just load them all. ( what could it hurt.. ) Needless to say, loading these files worked. After side loading them, I rebooted the phone and went back thru the visual voice mail set up process. I didn't receive the error this time, but instead was asked for my password. After I submitted my password it took me to the vvm info screen, I exited it. Called my phone and left myself a voicemail and it worked. My phone still gave the pop up of having a new voice mail. I went into the hub and played it. I know there are a few people at least who were hoping for a fix and luckily its a pretty simple one. Here are all the vvm files that I used. this was for a Z30 os but, I'm sure they should work for all other phones on the Verizon network also.
Thank you so much for your work with this. I sideloaded the bar files in your link using Sachesi. I rebooted the phone and started the VVM setup and as you suggested I no longer got the error message. But unfortunately it's stuck on "connecting to your voicemail system". Just getting the circle going round and I finally get the error message "unable to connect at this time. Try again later or call your service provider." Any thoughts? Should I try re-sideloading the files again maybe using a different program like DDPB instead of Sachesi? Or maybe it's just a temporary glitch and I'll be able to connect later. Thanks for your help!

What build are you on? This trick worked on 10.3.0, but not 10.3.1. There is another thread that I had started about this issue on 10.3.1, but the symptoms you describe is what we all experienced. Check that thread for possible solution (so far only success seems to be restoring from a previously working 10.3.0 backup).

Are you on 10.3.1? Because that was the issue I am having on that OS. Unfortunately this fix only works with 10.3. The only work around I have found for 10.3.1 is to load 10.3 do this fix. Do a back up. Load 10.3.1 reload the visual voice mail bar and the ecid538 bar then do a restore. Of you do a fresh install both times it's like you aren't really doing a restore for those who don't like to do restores. I know it is very time consuming. But only fix I have found.

I'm on 10.3.0. Actually it started working shortly after I posted when I got a pop-up asking for my VVM password. So glad to see it! Thank you again for figuring this out. Love VVM!!
