Good Day Blackberry aficionados, can anyone assist with this issue installing "ecid538"?

    "Connected to MSM8960AB CS PVS3 ANISIO Rev:12 at 169.254.158.81.
sys.data.ecid538.vvm was skipped. Version 10.3.1.106 already installed
None of the selected files were installable. Skipped 1."

Installed ecid538, thanks to Jhimmel, and a big thanks for that. I now get the "Connecting to your voicemail system" and ultimately get "Cannot Connect" I subscribe to VVM, and it is active on my account. I have gone through multiply reboots, and the same result> I see chatter about "sys.voicemailsetup.bar" Do I need to install that, and if so, is there a repository that I can find it on?

Silent_Legacy, no. First you need VVM working on an earlier build. I forget which one we are using, but it's all in the first post. You have to follow the steps exactly. Once working, do a backup. Then you can install any leak you want, load that file, and use the restore from that earlier build to get it working again. Re-read the steps. It has worked every single time for me. I discovered after a lot of testing early on that this method is the only way I could get it working on 10.3.1. We USED to be able to just load that file and re-run VVM setup - but not since 10.3.1.

Has anyone tried this with 680? since 680 doesn't let you go back to even 500, I'm not trying it until we know if the fix works.

Yes the fix still works with 10.3.2.

I know it works with 500, have you verified it works with 680? 680 won't even let you go back to 500.

It has worked with every OS 10.3.xx. It may not be verified specifically with 10.3.2.680, but there is no reason why it wouldn't.

As someone who has "fixed" every 10.3 install, I realize that. This one is a little different in that it isn't allowing any prior OS roll back, even to another 10.3.2 OS. A little concerned how nice the settings recovery will recover and a possibility of not allowing the install of the 10.2 VVM file. Keep in mind, even 500 allowed going back to a 10.2.2 build.

Being a work phone, I can't risk it without knowing it works this time; have to have working VVM. If I still had my Z10 (kids lost it) I'd give it a go, but don't have a spare, so too much of a risk.

Make sure these steps are followed exactly?
So. I've managed to get vvm working on every single release by doing this method.

    1…Load 10.3.0.1154. (I know you can't go back, once you're on .684. See step 4)
    2…Load the 538 bar.
3…Get visual voice mail working and that's it.
4…Make a backup. (I assume you have a backup that was made while it was working?)
    5…Load whatever OS. (Presumably .684)
6…Side load the one 538 file. Don't reboot yet.
7…Then restore backup. DO NOT INCLUDE (UNCHECK) THE BLACKBERRY RUNTIME.

It's like doing a fresh install.
And visual voice mail works like a charm every time.
And now you can use that one back up file with every OS I choose to load.
