Yeh, I came across a folder on my PC the other day while doing some cleanup that contained BSAK, JL Commander, and several alx files in addition to some old cods and jads.

i was always in Awe of the guys that created the Hybrid updates, installed one on my curve (8900 having come from an 8700) and it ran beautifully! Loved that phone, hung out for all the hybrid updates, as soon as they dropped i'd load them, spent hours when away at mothers one year reading the progress posts as an OS hybrid dropped when i was away!
upgraded that to the torch, lovely screen but Heavy device, followed that through the updates too, Mrs got the bold 9800 and updated that to os6, Always something happening back then!! Signs of progress i suppose, i still pop on every couple of weeks to check for shiny new OS leaks, Love my Q10, 3 years old and still a great device!

It was definitely a different time, specially when the first 10.1 leaked that's when things got real crazy around these forums.

Truly is sad to see BlackBerry in the state they are today. Hopefully they'll let us have one last hurrah by purposely leaking (aka allowing us to pull) the last BB10 update they plan to release.

I still remember being part of the B@stard hybrid testing team. Constant movement in the BBM group, feedback direct from the maker, and the lovely battery life. I still have the best of those builds loaded on my backup 9700(Aikido for anyone wondering)

ug. I see the tumbleweeds now. Sad but true. Good times with both bb os and bb10 are fast becoming a distant past. Oldies but goodies?
