If you want to install APK's using the BB10 browser, go to the Google Play Store website, find whatever you're looking for, copy the URL from the address bar, then go here and paste the URL in the box. The APK will download to your device, and from there you can install it.

If you're on a lower OS version than .1055 you're stuck doing things the old, longer way... converting the APK to BAR then installing.

Well, I offered another option for people. Aptoide was slow to download things for me and it would crash. Aptoide also is known to have paid apps available for free. (and those apps could have bad things added to them). I would trust the apps coming out of Google Play Store over ones coming out of Aptoide...

so your Method can be used for Paid apps to be secured

no, the paid apps are already secured (or at least, the best solution presently available) by Google's Play Store. The only way to get paid apps from the Google Play store is if you have an actual Android device*, and then it's a simple matter of copying the APK from there to your BB10 device. Many paid apps will not work at the moment because of license verification problems (because those apps use Google Play services for verification - but with apps like Lucky Patcher, sometimes the license verification can be removed). But that's the security mechanism in place. There's a reason so many developers use the Play store, and one of them is that it has the best security and thus gives developers the best chance at actually making money off their work.

    * I've only seen one program besides Google Play that lets you grab paid apps from the Play Store, but you still need valid user/phone information in order to do so. That program seems to be unsupported now and does not work properly.
