Don't worry. When Samsung or Apple introduces these same features down the road people will praise them for thinking outside the box and improving their OS with unique features.

Hate to sound stupid if this is a well known about feature but, I'm pretty new to BlackBerry so why not.

I figured this out recently which I never noticed on 10.2.

While viewing an album, you can swipe down on the album image to reveal the track list and select a different song.

There is a simpler way to do it.

Just hold VolumeUp or VolumeDown buttons for a couple of seconds and player will switch a track to Next or Previous.
But it's a couple of seconds... That's convenient if
    1. You're in another app
    2. Your phone's screen is off

This is frustrating for sure. Especially when you see apple and android TV ads showing off a "new" feature that BlackBerry has had for years. The most recent example is the camera where you can touch anywhere on the screen to take a picture.

Ironically, now gone in 10.3.xxxxx. You have to hit a "shutter" button now.

Catch 22 with the camera shutter.. I personally liked the tap anywhere as well BUT I travel a lot on my motorcycle and when I handed my phone to random people to take my picture in different places they often had no clue.. it took a lot of explaining for something that should have been a simple task. So I can see the logic in adding a shutter button. I also like the idea of the instant video button and the ability to grab stills while recording.. ideally for me, they would have added all this but also left the ability to take a picture by taping anywhere on the screen and hold/drag for the focus box.

You have to hit an on-screen button if you're using an all touch device, Q users can still take a picture start/stop a video with the space bar
Yes! I've liked this ever since BBOS. I don't really want to tap anything to take a picture, because tapping is more likely to move the device, resulting in blurry pictures. Gradually pressing the space bar, like squeezing a trigger instead of pulling it, gets better results. If I give the Q10 to someone and ask them to take a picture, they always want to tap the icon, but I tell them to use the space bar instead. Usually, they are surprised and pleased with how well that works.

Dude! That pissed me off SO much when I saw that commercial!!! Not only the fact that BB10 had it from day one, but also that BlackBerry has now in 10.3 abandoned such an awesome feature!

For the best upgrade in 10.3 music player is the Equalizer.

Now I don't have to go around testing various android apps to get a free music player with equalizer.

The default BB music player now ROCKS!!

You just frame the shot while still on the picture screen, the video button just starts recording, the camera takes a pic, plus you can also take pics whilst filming, it's much better than the 10.2. Camera.

Yes, thanks, lol. I figured that out, however it still does not make it intuitive.

Mine always started back where I left off, as long as I didn't close the music app on my BlackBerry. I've yet to try it on 10.3 to see if it behaves differently.

    Posted via CB10
this is even if you close the music app it resumes where you left off when you open it

Been using the Q10 for over two weeks now. And just now learnt about the "space bar" shortcut. BlackBerry really needs to bring up more ads show casing all these awesome features.
