I downloaded the radio file from Thurask bitcast site

Is there a better link anywhere for 799 radio for the passport?

I did uncheck 'only install newer' tab also?

    Passport 10.3.2.2474
    andysan,

As Ruben pointed out, the thurask archive only contains autoloaders, which are not installed with Sachesi.

To use Sachesi for the installation, you need to find the thread containing the live links to BlackBerry servers for the 10.3.2.798 OS - on that thread in the first post, you should find a link to the radio file for the PassPort version of the radio file - download that file which you can then install with Sachesi.

Make sure you download the correct radio file for PassPort.

Hey Don Henry! You are correct, .799 radio file is side loaded using Sachesi and what a huge improvement on my passport for both battery life and reception! If the op can find the file, I believe I still have it and will post the link. Hope you are doing well Don!

Link for PASSPORT RADIO FILE .799! NOTE THIS IS FOR PASSPORT ONLY! You are on 2639 correct? if so, here is the Passport 10.3.2.799 Radio file: https://mega.nz/#!Epgn1QhD!Gm-3VFR3L...gR_D3_Dte2NBqA Side load with Sachesi after download. File is zipped and will open as a bar file. Save to desktop and drag and drop into Sachesi after you are plugged in to the pc and Sachesi has recognized your phone. Takes about a minute to load and about 5 mins to reboot the phone with the new radio on it. I'd do a couple of hard resets once you have downloaded it. Make sure and UNCHECK the "Install newer files only" box prior to dragging it over and loading it. Good luck!

Does the 799 radio break anything? If not, why is it not already in the recent builds?

Radio alone can be sideloaded. And I agree, .799 radio is the best right now.

Disagree. 859 is better on a STA100-5 Z30 in Canada compared to 799. You need to do your own testing. Radios can be radio-only autoloaded.

I tried 799 & 859 radio on OS 2639 but had problem of call details not being recognized by caller names. Most of call details and SMS were shown as numbers instead of contact names. So, I had to switch back to 2640 radio.

I have not tried the 859 radio. So far for me the 799 is great. Why do you think the 859 radio is better? Did you compare 799 and 859? If you did, what makes 859 better? If it's better I will switch.

Dear friends, as I figured it out, the radio for each device has different outcome, for an instance, for my Z10 .799 was horrible, it was slow and made my phone to get over heat, affiliate I have tried .841, 799, 2340, 2640, 859, I find out that 859 has much better performance and not over heating problem at all, everything is perfect and battery life is quite good, for passport users the best radio voted by testers was 799. Well that was my findings I am waiting for new leaks to upgrade my radio until then I don't bother to change from 859

Peace out, from my beloved BlackBerry Z10

I'm testing out the 2253 radio for passport to.
On idle it seems to kill every other radio file BUT when u use the phone it loses power faster. So i'll test it a little bit more but i might be heading to 799 again

@pritvi: I'm on OTA updated 10.3.2639 with 2640 radio. Even then, my phone call log shows only numbers instead of contacts name sometimes. I hv asked about this in another thread. But none has an idea what is actually wrong.

To LLAMAX,i use Q10 on Wind mobile network that is AWS and 859 Radio the best so far,2253 is good too,2639 is stable no call drop no WI FI problem just battery power hungry. So i think 859 worth it to try.

Hi and very good day to everyone, I heard many times about several radio versions, I downloaded the most famous versions, 681,859 and 841
Does anyone knows which one performance is best on Z10 STL100-2 OS. 2639
    PLEASE HELP ME GUYS
I am heavy user and my battery life is sucks, comparing to my former phone which was Android SONY Z1

I get only 5-7 hours of battery life in Z10 which some times even it drained faster if I use network data and phone gets extremely hot like it can burn your skin and drops from 70% to 50 in a glimpse of an eye

    Please help.

    Posted via CB10
I have been tried a couple of radio files 799 and 859 and can't resolve battery drainage issues. The battery life is average, have to turn OFF location mode ,minimise running back ground apps and saving docs or picture to media card . This will help device operation less load and smoothly. There is no problem of 2640 radio.
May you reload OS by autoloader and don't restore back files.

I think Z10 and Q10 users have to adjust them self to 10.3.2.xxx OS bcs this OS power hungry, only upcoming protection low made BB to update old devices.New devices have bigger battery and have more chance to stay on during all day.I disable every thing I don"t use,BB protect is OFF too,Don"t play games and so on,I see already some one write sms"what for do you need the phone",the main reason of the phone is to make a call and send message, the rest is extra. Thanks for reading.

Q10-5 2639/859 and really love it

Nope, i can install the 799 radio on my PP. You have to uncheck " install only newer files" in the install tab in sachesi. I'm on 10.3.2.2639 OS
