Hi and very good day to everyone, I heard many times about several radio versions, I downloaded the most famous versions, 681,859 and 841
Does anyone knows which one performance is best on Z10 STL100-2 OS. 2639
    PLEASE HELP ME GUYS
I am heavy user and my battery life is sucks, comparing to my former phone which was Android SONY Z1

I get only 5-7 hours of battery life in Z10 which some times even it drained faster if I use network data and phone gets extremely hot like it can burn your skin and drops from 70% to 50 in a glimpse of an eye

    Please help.

Most of the people say that .799 has the best battery life. For me the latest is the best.

I'm experiencing good battery life with the radio 2640.

Actually better than 840... didn't try 799 though.

    OS version 2639
    -----
And yep, the z10 is not really the best at the battery department.. what you use for Internet?? - wifi, 3g, 4g??
Wifi will use the least power... 3g and 4g are dependent on network strength...

You had better replace your battery, I suppose. (My Z10 does not get too hot.)

On my Z10 STL 100-2 the best results are with the 859 radio. On my PP radio 799 gives the best results

Best advice is to stop messing with the radio versions. It won't help you much. 2639 is as good as any other version. There isn't something called the most famous version. I can easily start a thread saying 500 was best radio, 2 other will chime in for fun and there you have it - a legend is born. Then other users just repeat brainlessly and the fame starts. That's how it works here.
You can't compare with other users. This is not level playing field.
Look up your settings to nail down battery eater.

Sorry but i do not agree.
ALL the people i know wheren't really happy with the battery life. Including myself.
I tried al radio versions with different os'es.
When i load 2639 with 2640 radio, battery is BAD.
But if i just load 799 radio, it flats out within 20minutes... some of my friends where stunned that it changed so much with just upgrading 1 file.

Offcourse it depends on usage, carrier etc. But there deffenetly is a 'perfect' combo and it's this one for a lot of people. It has a strong signal and it doesn't drop much. Which makes battery life stable. It also runs really cool which 841 and 859 did not do for me. Although battery wasn't bad with them eather. Just higher temperature.

And trust me, i've spend a lot of weeks with switching OS'es

I'm not sure which is the best radio to use as my cell provider has a real bad coverage issue in my location which means bad battery drain, also I've had this Z10STL100-2 for almost 3 years now using the original battery, I think I'll need to change the battery before trying out different radios.

2640 radio on my Z10 was pretty bad on the battery. I use 799 now on the Z10 and notice a big difference. On my Leap, 2640 radio is working great and battery life is great also.
As another poster above stated, I think it depends on the device which radio will work best. I have read good things about 859 radio but have not tried it.

You can defenetly try all 3 of this radio's to see which one fits your device and providor the best.
841,859 and 799. I would try that before buying a battery, cause switching radio's is for free

Also radio 2640 is the same as 2340.
So if you find it better in battery life compared to 2340 it's because of some fixes in the core, not the radio

Some reported it still worked but for me it's broken on all my BlackBerry 10 devices.
I'm lucky i don't use it though...so if you really need it, it's a no go

I downloaded the radio file from Thurask bitcast site

Is there a better link anywhere for 799 radio for the passport?

I did uncheck 'only install newer' tab also?

    Thurask only has autoloaders...
    So the uncheck isn't needed?
How did you try to load this ?
