after downloading 10.1.00.4543 i held off just a little longer waiting on verizon to release an official.. after more frustration than i have ever had in my 10 years of bartending, i'm loading a leak.

i have heard and read that .4543 is awesome and amazing etc.. but then i see today that .4633 has been released and i know it was only this morning, but haven't seen anything amazing or horrible about it yet..

any input from anyone? or does each leak have their own page to view changes?

Leaks are to each their own. It all depends on personal preference

As Kris said, it is based on preference, but since you haven't installed a leak, from which to gain a preference, you may as well go for the newer one.

Generally (not always for everyone, but in my personal experience) the only real issue us STL 100-4 people will have are radio issues. This is easily remedied. Radios are a very fast and non-destructive thing to switch out. There's no need to reload backups or anything like that; just install and it's there.

Search elsewhere to find out. There's a radio thread here http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...9/index12.html and a lot of help around. I have several Verizon specific radio files from older builds, but I am not 100% of they are compatible with the .4xxx installs or not (haven't tried).

Kris? Some of us would love that thread to be a sticky.

The 4### series of leaks along with the current 10.2 version I stay away from right now.
Leaks may not really include anything new that you can see.

I run 2354 with an 1881 radio on my Verizon 004 with good results. Rebooting is gone. Other radio files seemed to drop calls more.

2009 was also a good stable OS.

Most the time the folks will say if the leak is Verizon specific like some have been. 2009 was.

Always do a security wipe after installing the OS. I can't stress this part enough.

Install from scratch as much as you can when it comes to getting your apps back. Restoring app data and settings can cause issues.

I reboot after any app update or install/uninstall. I swear my phone will reboot itself if I don't.

    Best if luck...

My colleagues are all running .4543 on their VzW Z10s, without issue. They love it. None of us have tested .4633 - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'd still be on 2354/1881 then; that was a great combination -- but I can't leave well enough alone. ;-)

I haven't tried. 4633 but I've been running. 4543 for a while with no issues. I agree with previous posters. Be sure to perform security wipe after install. Also, if possible, do not restore from backup.

Agreed, this is an issues with all loads on all devices, so I'm working on something to address this in my free time, hopefully I'll have something put together a bit later in the week...

No. This is as close to bug free as any leak to date.

I see. What are your bars like normally? Do you get good signal where you are? I ask because I've recently moved and my signal is terrible now. Dropped calls all the time over here. Where I lived previously, the signal was great, probably because I lived closer to Midway Airport in Chicago. Now, I'm closer to the lake and Indiana. Seems there's not a lot of cell towers around. Not sure. I'm on the original VZW OS. Just wondering if the leaks can address this issue.
