Yeah, just look at the memory under settings > hardware when you open and close apps. Clean rebooted there are 1 to 1.2 Gig free with no open apps, after some time running it goes down to 600-700 MB with no opened apps (because at least sone of them remain in the memory for a quicker restart if you don't press and hold the X at closing). There's just not enough for more than eight, but IMO this doesn't make sense anyway. I can't remember when I had more than 4 open at the same time.

On boot time, HUB is not initialized... After a while, HUB loads lots of data from flash to RAM so we can enjoy smooth experience of HUB, which takes up lots of RAM space... the more powerful HUB becomes, the more RAM it will consume...

Upgraded to to 4537 on my Z10-3 on Rogers. A couple of initial observations:
    a) Google Apps using Active Sync now allows you to include participants in a calendar invitation - Yeah
    b) Visual Voice Mail on Rogers was working on 2342 however it is not available on 4537 - Boo

Haven't see it mentioned, but when reentering all the passwords, Gmail takes you to the Gmail site now, not just the account settings on the phone.

Install on an AT&T -3 was very smooth, currently going through the wipe. Will post an update shortly once I get my backup restored. I had gone to 1780, which was ok but then tried I think it was the 2354 and lost SMS. Hoping this gives me the SMS back!

-- update 1: wipe completed, tutorial as others have said is 10 times quicker and less annoying for sure. Performing a restart prior to my backup restore.

-- update 2: here's to wishing these things were on USB3... the restore (of over 1GB) takes at least 20-25 minutes give or take.
    ------------------------------------------------------------
Google takes you to a webpage (within the settings app) where you approval all the requests, very similar to asking facebook to approve an app access to something. I had to do this 3 times. Probably would have been better if I just deleted Google and we added the account back. The verification part is slow.

Hotmail/outlook.com, linkedin and facebook work the same as before.

    Simple password is functional.

And most importantly... text messaging is available again. But all my stored texts from the last nights backup didn't come over. Not a loss to me but just in case it might be something you all should be aware of.

Verizon STL100-4. Installed with no problem. Restore from BB Link no problem. Only issue I've found so far is that I am unable to
    set a Simple Password.
    Update: Simple Password set up.

It's easy. Make a backup first with BlackBerry link then extract the autoloader from the archive you downloaded and run the exe. After the phone restarts, reload the backup. That's it.

IIRC RAM is the issue. Thusly the PlayBook doesn't get BB10. Tho I'd love to see a hybrid version come.
Windows phones seem to have them open ok - and it's not the BB ones are actually doing anything in the background when open

check out what and how are you trying to install. i sideloaded all my stuff and works good. maybe you try to drag a bar file over the androidXXX.bat or something, instead of the installer one, like i did earlier
I drag it over convertxxxxxxzz.bar. The window appear for not more than 1sec. Am I doing something wrong?

Windows phone freezes them like how android does, it doesn't cache the memory as bad

Yes. You downloaded an archive in an archaic format (rar) which contains the autoloader - an executable.
(side note: bot zip and 7-zip would be better choices for compression)

You need to drag the apk over convert. If you have the bar file, drag it over the other file, I don't know the name you have, should be install or something.
