    1917 or 1881 radio file ...

Which should I go with? I'm fed up with waiting for Verizon to update my damned phone.

Oh, that reminds me, I have to order tea tonight. To Upton and Adagio!

Oh, can someone link the procedure that I should use.

Has anyone else had issues with selecting multiple items in the Hub to be deleted? Every time I click select more, it let's me select the first message and/or call that I want to delete then the selection just clears and I have to start over but am never able to get any further. I am on 2354 with 1881.

I finally installed my first leak OS last night, 2354 w/1881 radio file on my Verizon Z10 -4. Many thanks to Kris, IMSTIG and everyone else who contributed all the helpful information and files that made doing this a breeze. I could not have done this if it wasn't for their many contributions to this forum/community.

My initial thoughts on the leak are good. I've found no issues so far. Battery drain is slightly more than what I had on Verizon's stock 10.0 but it hasn't been 24 hours yet so we'll see on that. I defiantly wouldn't complain about it, it's just not as good as the excellent battery life I had on 10.0.

When you install a leak like this, the handset does a lot of background syncing for several hours, diminishing battery life. Also, we tend to spend a lot of time fiddling, adjusting, and checking things after a fresh install. Typically, the first day after an install is not the best judge of the battery performance you can expect to see. Let us know what you experience after the next day or two of normal use!

Perhaps the 1881 needs it's own thread as many of use are using 1917 per the threads name.

    VZW running .2354 w/ .2355 radio.

2354 has stopped all random reboots for me; even when on the charger at night. Still experiencing a lot of Dropped calls though. Thinking of trying the .1881 radio.

Question: does "flashing" a radio file on top of .2354 erase settings and apps? Do i need to perform a back-up like i do when I load a leaked OS?
    Thanks!

Running. 2354 with the. 1881 radio. I'll echo that this build is extremely good. I've been on it 3 days and no random reboots. Everything is smooth and responsive. My battery life has hasn't been as good as 1880, but as another post mentioned, it's probably because I have been tinkering quite a bit and using the device more than usual. If you're on the fence about this build, I say, go for it!

Did you try the Verizon specific. 2354 that lbfe posted in the middle of a random thread about Verizon specific leaks. It has the Verizon .2355 radio.
This had been working well for me, but I had 3 quick dropped calls today in what I guess was a low coverage area. Trying the 1881 radio. Flashed right over the top of 2354 with no problems.

I would back it up as a precaution as it did brick my phone flashing over 2354, but it normally should not corrupt anything.

I have experienced this several times only on first boot of device after loading new OS. After restarting the hub, issue never showed up again

Hate to quote myself, but I happen to go back to the same stretch of road where I had the dropped calls with the 2355 radio. Using the newly flashed 1881 radio I had no drops. I will say my signal seemed to fluctuate a good bit when I was driving around, but call quality was just fine and I guess that's all that really matters.

I was getting the dropped calls also, and dropped down to the 1881 radio. Since then no dropped calls, and no reboots (yes i am on 2354)

I'm very upset at this thread. Not having any friends, I usually receive calls from my boss, my ex-wife, creditors, etc. Losing the phone connection was great! I didn't even have to make fake disconnect noises. Now with this fix, with the 1881 radio, my phone connection is solid. Boo!

I've been running 2354 with 2355 radio but have noticed dropped calls the last few days. I could not get the radio files to load, they just bricked the phone each try. I spent the afternoon loading this hybrid and reinstalling backup. No issues getting it done. I will report back in a few days if it helps the radio.

    1881 installed!

    Cn10 app seems more snappy.

The cursor for text editing is way better. Order of magnitude better.

Keyboard seems more responsive but prediction unchanged. Seems like suggestions appear quicker.

Why can I not connect to yahoo via the hub though.

Sad to report that I had a random reboot on this 2354/1917 combo this morning. Got up to go to the gym about 5:15 and all was fine with the phone. Pull it off the charger fully charged around 5:35 and all was still fine. By the time I go to the gym, plugged my headphones to start my workout and noticed that all my active frames were gone. Check my last boot time and it was 6/19 5:46am. It must have rebooted while in the car on the way to the gym.

    Very disappointed.

My findings with 2354 + 1881 after 36 hours are it's ok. I love 10.1 but my battery life isn't what I had with Verizon's stock 10.0. When the device is just idling it's about the same but any processes like texting, e-mail or opening any app uses twice the juice as on 10.0. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, it will use twice the battery as it used to. I am now having to use my charger at work which I never did before. It also runs hotter than it before 2354.

Many people have had issues with 2354/1917 combo. The most stable combo that everyone has been raving about is the 2354/1881
