While I haven't tried yours, I can tell you first hand that you've picked a good combination. I have had very good success with both general OS fludity, battery life and calls not dropping with this same combination. My battery is at 78% (it is 4:07 PM) and I took it off the charger at 0630 today. It's seen a fair amount of use, but not much talk time (only one call - crystal clear; no drops). Lots of emails and texts, a bit of browsing, poking around in BlackBerry World, etc.

There are a number of people in the Verizon forum complaining about -- well, Verizon. I've jumped in to a few threads, pointing this forum out, etc. You've set up a good combo for Verizon users -- perhaps you might pop in and let them know that they do not have to be held back by our carrier... and that we have options. http://forums.crackberry.com/verizon-wireless-f71/ maybe you'll get a few converts. Verizon is making BlackBerry look bad. It's up to us to reverse that, I guess.

Can anyone else confirm the battery life?

If you are asking if this combo has improved battery life the answer in my opinion is yes. See screen shot below. 14hours of general use with 40% remaining. Now averaging 18-20 hours.

I applied this loader last night and it wiped my data, but after restoring, I'm up and running. Great signal, no dropped calls (was on a 45 minute call this morning that there's no way I would have made it through on 10.1.0.1756 - with whatever radio is stock for that version). Thanks for the hard work putting this together and keeping us current!

My half-day observation so far is that the battery life isn't quite as good as my previous version, but given the other comments I've seen, it seems I'm the exception here. There may be something else going on, though - the OS is generally very smooth, but when BB World is open and I scroll across the active panes panel, it's jumpy/laggy with the BBW pane visible. If I close that app, scrolling across active panes is smooth again.

Hoping for the rumored 10.1 drop for Verizon tomorrow - we'll see if it happens and what version it ends up being!

NOTE: I just had my first dropped call on 1917 radio, will downgrade to 1881 and report back later

The full 1.1.0.2354 build both killed my battery and dropped calls as well as had poor call quality. Stock OS I would last well over a day, 2354 less then 8 hrs.

I was previously running 1880 and having 3 to 5 reboots a night while on the charger. Installed this hybrid and the reboots are gone! Best combo for me so far. Battery life is also excellent. Thanks for putting this together.

Did you try the Verizon specific. 2354 that lbfe posted in the middle of a random thread about Verizon specific leaks. It has the Verizon .2355 radio. Here's my mirror if you want to try it.

    I am on STL100-1, 2354 OS and 1721 Radio.
Looks fine so far except for being unable to compose SMS or use any other features of SMS. Does this mean I need to secure wipe or install compatible radio?

+1 I thought my Bluetooth was messing up, bad call quality. Then I noticed everywhere seemed to be a bad area for calls, dropping almost all of them. This combo seems to have fixed both.

This is an autoloader of 1.1.0.2354 (latest stable leak as of posting) and z10 1917 radio.
Thanks for taking the time to test, post your results, and provide the loaders. I am on the 10.1.0.2354 + 1881 combo, and it is working very well for me. Much appreciated.

I am using .2354+1881 radio after having no sound on games with the 10.2 alpha. Seems great so far. Very fast and better signal than most. And yes the sound works on angry birds again in this os.

I have tried many previous leaks...thanks to those people and their good work....including most recently...the Verizon specific. 2354 that lbfe posted in another thread. On Verizon.... the Ibfe leak (2354) was a stable OS, but I kept having lots and lots of dropped calls whenever I was in a low signal area. Many more than on other BBs. Read this thread and then found Kris's thread on all of the radios available (thanks to Kris for his incredible good work) and just downloaded and flashed the 1881 radio over the Ibfe 2354. Twelve hours so far, and not a single dropped call...despite making a number of tests calls from a low signal area...which is a wonderful result. Also, for the first time with the phone, at home in a low signal area it shows "4glte" which it has never displayed in this location. In all of my use of previous leaks, I may have used 1917 radio...but I don't recall the lack of drop calls (understanding so far it has only been half a day) so I am very excited about 1881 radio on top of 2354.

Glad everyone is seeing 1881 successful, I guess this may be the most stable combo for now! Adding the new clock/alarm and camera apps for now are great!

Hey, if it works, no need to risk breaking it. I would keep what you have until there is a reason to change

I have success...as stated above...with 2343 and 1881 radio on verizon with no more dropped calls...but I would not recommend you change if you are having success. This phone thing is so puzzling...I never had the "reboot" issue...but I did suffer from dropped calls and now with 1881 radio on top of 2343...no longer any dropped calls after over a day.

I've been running 10.1.0.2354 + .1917 radio on T-Mobile for about a week and a half now. No reboots, I haven't noticed any dropped calls that were outside poor reception areas and my battery live has been great. I'm at about 21-22% after 18-19hrs of average use.

I was having dropped calls too but pulled my sim card and stuck it back in solved the problem for me...i was looking for away to solve the issue without flashing a different radio again.
