hey guys, I love playing around with the leaks, but it would be infinitely useful if the leaks could be sticky-ed in the order of the latest leak on top, etc. The problem occurs when there are a lot of posts that end up ahead of the latest leak release and then sometimes an older leak might before a newer leak as a result of posts not specifically related to the leak itself.

    Just my two cents, thanks.

Problem is, sometimes they release 2 or 3 or 4 leaks in a short period. We'd end up with a boatload of stickied threads.

There are limit on the number of stickies, we can post the posts in group thread or if I can give you an idea, search in topic names for BerryLeaks

Not to mention the fact that since they are very popular threads they stay near the top all the time anyway.

Perhaps that is a solution: Just sticky the latest? It might be useful, no?

the latest is different for each device though. there are atleast 3 leaks needed to cover all devices often times.

Would this not be the route to take?

I was thinking along these lines as well.

Create a sticky for each device (earlier post by howarmat indicates up to 3 stickies needed) and if the mods set the permissions on each sticky so only they may post, and if they were to post/update only the actual link to the leak for each leak in the appropriate sticky...continue the regular chatting in normal thread...I see that as giving the forums a kinda file repository like effect dealing with the perspective leaks...no?

We could then access all leaks for a particular device forward or backwards within its designated Sticky thread in an un-clogged environment.

    Just a thought and suggestion.

Or maybe a download files section with sub folders for devices as necessary.

With areas for tools/utilities, leaks, OS specialty bars (dark theme bright theme kinda stuff), and miscellaneous .

    Again just an Idea.

BTW appreciate the mods work here...I know they keep us running and take their time to help. Thanks guys/gals!

I know this would mean more work.. at the start. But might free up more of their time for other stuff down the road.

We tried that before. Problem was everyone had to wait for the OP to update the post.

I see that now you mention it.

Could we not send Bobo and Guido over to the OP and solve this problem?

I just edited a post in my hybrid thread to include a history of (the most recent) leaked OS threads. I will work on updating it with older versions, and I will keep it updated for the current and future leaks.

No problem. I made it through the first ten pages of threads and grabbed all I could find. I'll add more later.

I agree with closing the leak threads, except what about the mirrors? Don't want 20 threads for one leak. Would help to keep things neat and tidy though.
