I think I might have found a headless player. No idea how I did it or if its a bug but for some reason I can't close the notification.

This is the Android Runtime from the SDK on. 296

But as you see it's not open.

No, as far as I have tried to get it to work. This one feature alone would put me exclusively on my Q10. I want to dump my Iphone, but having the ability to keep my eyes on the road while playing music is my number 1 priority. No bluetooth control for spotify and all music apps=no Q10 as my daily device. I'll leave complaining about my Q10's ability to reply to text through bluetooth control for another thread.

It seems with the .442 runtime the notifications that appear for Android ports are more in line with their Android appearance. I have a feeling that might be just a coincidence, but maybe it means they are working on improving the way Android ports work with the Hub.

Too bad the app still has no music player controls. I do not understand why Spotify does not just port over their Android version and get the appropriate app permissions for that. I am sure music controls worked on the old 2.3.3 runtime, but ever since 4.2.2 it stopped.

The one is posted is the latest version from GPlay.

Bluetooth controls will not work because the Android Runtime does not support media controls (yet). But seeing as this new AR supports advanced notifications, and headless apps, maybe they have that on their to-do list.

Oof, I have not done a convert+sideload in ages. Probably do not even have the proper files anymore.
I did manage to fully close Spotify now, after I first deleted the Hub notification. Maybe it is just a fluke, will try that again next time to see if it works.

It's too bad, I hope when all is said and done they can figure this out for 10.3 final release. Thanks to both of you guys for posting files to test.
