Yes. All air apps. I don't understand why they discontinued support for it. Just don't make core apps with it.

From what I can tell, core apps done in adobe air are slow and laggy so not so bad but bad for devs that have made apps with it and people who bought them.

Air is just terrible. I'm so glad it's getting cut. It's slow, laggy, and outdated.

Having support for Native, HTML5, Android and Air requires memory as well as ressources to maintaing the implementation and the SDK.
By removing Air support BlackBerry can either lower the memory requirement or use it for other purposes.

Apple successfully killed Flash/Air on iOS devices.

IMHO Flash is dying as a technology and I am happy to see it go.

I believe it's a licensing thing. No AIR means no money wasted paying Adobe to use it. Since mobile Flash is discontinued, the setup might be different, so I think Flash should stick around for longer.

The only thing that's in AIR at the moment is the escreens app, which nobody should be able to see anyway. Even so, there may be a Cascades version in the future.

Well it depends on your max speed, right?

I mean: if I have 100 mbit link, my pc or native speed tester app shows these 100 mbits, while speedtest.net android app shows less.

Test made on 3G connection at my desk (3G changes with H)

Using stock browser. OS. 3175 installed. It pulls up the page, but the animation stops at showing 100% and will not go to the dial screen. It used to work.

Even they are connecting to different servers. With the android app I connect to exactly same server with my laptop and phone.

    And phone is much slower
