Could you try adding email and Facebook accounts then doing a battery pull?

OK, so at least we can now raise it with BlackBerry as an "official" fault.

Okay - as far as my particular blue LED device is concerned : this does not look good.

Now done two restarts. After the first I actually thought it was going to be OK, as it retained my minor settings changes.
However after the second restart a few moments ago, it has failed to keep the changes I made last time round.

I will post more detail later as I have to go eat.

    As a quick summary :

    Q10 SQN100-3 on Vodafone UK.
    Did a cfp nuke-a.
Autoloaded 10.2.1.1259 (which I found on these excellent forums somewhere).
Connected via USB to Blackberry Link which informed me I had an update available to 10.3.1.1565.
Allowed Blackberry Link to do its stuff.

    And here I am.

Will do a few more changes and restarts - perhaps my methodology is flawed in some way. Besides this is only ONE device.

Please do not assume this will necessarily be the same for all blue LED devices.
Again, I am not surprised since it didn't work on the leaked version. Might be time for me to just suck it up and get a new phone.

Well look like it's time to switch to Android. Was hoping they would fix this problem so I don't have to switch. Been using BlackBerry from the pearl days so it will be a sad transition.

Thinking about an old Android too, Blackberry is so expensive to buy. Love BB, but not able to afford. So sad!

This just doesn't make any sense. How can they roll out on official OS that causes some phones to factory reset every time they power down? It's one thing if a leak causes this, but now can't everyone effected basically file a warranty claim with their carrier? I would think this would be a major sticking point.

I've always been partial to the term "borked" myself. In fact, while rolling back multiple leaks over the last several months, I've been telling my wife she can't reach me due to the fact I'm having to deborkify my phone.

Bork is a good verb, but the colourful aptness of our phones being smurfed is the clear winner this time I reckon.

Nah, it's total BS. No different to the leaks.

Once again I find myself wasting more of my time on this nonsense.

Will see if Blackberry want to do anything about it - I'll email or whatever. They're really pushing my love of the physical keyboard to its limits now.

Of course, the $64 million question is : has anyone whose device was working normally until this official 10.3.1 update, now found themselves in the "blue LED" club? If the answer is 'yes' then Blackberry have some sorting out to do. If the answer is 'no'.........

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can find no obvious way to contact BB UK about this issue.

Why the hell should I use Twitter? This is insane.

I think I've had enough of this crap for one day, and in fact for several months.

Off to look at alternative (non-Blackberry) phones.

Samsung are doing some sexy stuff with curved screens on their upcoming phones...
If BlackBerry don't bring out an all touch successor to my beloved Z30, I may jump ship too and try to find a gesture based android launcher.

Well I hope for you guys that this will lead to a solution. Because this shouldn't be something that is only covered by warranty. This is a production flaw, nothing else.

No, I've got a Z10 STL100-2 with the same problem. It was a replacement from O2 UK that came unlocked.
