Just leave the thread comments like that aren't appreciated. We are all irritated. No one tolerates comments like that in the forums.

I've done the same thing with no success. What did you set the date to?

I have an SQN100-5 on T-Mo... I'm interested to try baby steps to get rid of the Blue LED on bootup through the Refurb Date mod, unless you've been down that path already a ton of times? P.S. This thread is such an interesting puzzlement!

Just this afternoon tried setting refurbished date with 2072. Tried a few different ways installing . No luck. Back on 10.2.1.3442.

I've tried everything. I can't imagine OFFICIAL will change anything.

My refurb date wasn't even set. That's on an SQN100-5 with Blue Led.

For kicks I set it to today's date, rebooted with Blue Led, then cleared it again and rebooted, also with the Blue Led.

I can't believe that not a single soul knows precisely what the blue led signifies. Loads of theories, but not one piece of factual data from BlackBerry about this. Really?

Hey guess what everyone I finally since July fixed mine today.

Sure when I started this thread I was angry and I'm only a diva on Sundays. But I did the unthinkable.

    I bought a new onebdorb5 bucks. Stl100-3. Works like a charm.

    I have no idea what a "onebdor5" is, but a STL100-3 is a Z10.

Yeh, I know that an STL100-n is a Z10, it was the "onebdor5" that I was curious about.
Itching for my fiance to get home with her BlueLED Z10 so I can try the 10.3.1 update!

LOL. I will not be the least bit surprised if it is not fixed, but still very slightly hopeful.

Well for one, if he did a full wipe and fresh install he could very well still be in the process. Also, maybe he's done and everything went smooth and he's out tra-la-la-ing all over town enjoying 10.3.1 and forgot about us in his endorphin flooded manic happiness. Just sayin'

Okay - as far as my particular blue LED device is concerned : this does not look good.

Now done two restarts. After the first I actually thought it was going to be OK, as it retained my minor settings changes.
However after the second restart a few moments ago, it has failed to keep the changes I made last time round.

I will post more detail later as I have to go eat.

    As a quick summary :

    Q10 SQN100-3 on Vodafone UK.
    Did a cfp nuke-a.
Autoloaded 10.2.1.1259 (which I found on these excellent forums somewhere).
Connected via USB to Blackberry Link which informed me I had an update available to 10.3.1.1565.
Allowed Blackberry Link to do its stuff.

    And here I am.

Will do a few more changes and restarts - perhaps my methodology is flawed in some way. Besides this is only ONE device.

Please do not assume this will necessarily be the same for all blue LED devices.
