I have been having problems using files stored on Box with Android apps since updating to .1925. I have finally found a workaround while trying to resolve a different issue.

I was using Keepass Droid, and whenever browsing for a database to open, the File Manager would open. The problem was that when I selected a database that was not on the phone or SD Card the path would not be updated in the app. I found that if I clicked on the file while using the File Manager (NOT being invoked by an app) Keepass Droid opened with the correct path (because it was the default app to open the file type).

If you type the file path correctly (instead of selecting a file and letting the OS enter the path for you) the Android app can access the file without a problem.

    Example path: /accounts/1000/shared/Box/Default Sync Folder/Database.kbdx

Just so I fully understand, you now open the app from File Manager only? Do you have to do that every time or just once?

I only did it once. The application that opened the file saves a list of recent files.

Yes, they broke the path engine somewhere in the file manager with 1925. The direct path still works.
