    Anyone know why the color on the bottom of the senders message alternates in colors between green and orange?

    I scrolled up we've had a conversation since the date listed on the screen shot. So i dont think that's the meaning behind it

    The idea is to differentiate between 1 message and 2 or more messages in one bubble.

    I also noticed this.

    As mentioned, if more than one message is sent/received within a certain amount of time, it will get grouped in one bubble. The senders bubble line goes from orange to green. Your bubble line stays gray, even with multiple messages. It will group with the timestamp of that first message even if the second one came in (or was sent) a few minutes later.

    I don't know the limit, but at some point - like, a few hours later - it will post the next sequential message as a separate bubble.
