I installed the latest leak Z10STL100-1/10.3.1.1154
And now you have to touch the silence button to silence the phone.
    Finally!!

You are one of the few that appreciates that functionality.
There was a complaint thread about it a month ago

Being able to quickly silence the phone by touching any part of the screen was brilliant. A small but unique and immensly appreciated feature that BlackBerry was very short-sighted to remove

And I'm the one of the few that appreciated this fixing, since I have a naked phone and keep it a lot in my pocket.

Many people didn't hear the phone while phone in their pocket by accidently touch the screen. And it's good idea what they've done

Maybe BlackBerry should make this optional to keep both sides happy

No disrespect, simply curious, how do you silence the phone in your pocket without touching it.. random objects and denim fabrics can't interact with the phone, and if your muting it with your hand I can only assume you're reaching in to pull it out in which case you either heard the ring or will see the call screen when you pull It out?..

I set my incoming calls Notification up with full option ( sound, led and vibration). I save my phone in pocket with screen face up to the body and once had an incoming call, vibration on the screen would mute the notification immediately once it touched my body.
