This is the first I've heard of a not responding issue. I know this is the wrong thread for this, but if there's ever issues like this let me know either in the sticky post or PM me. I will fix any problems that come up like this.

As it stands I have a pretty good idea where this is happening and I know I have to improve on it. It's just the disk IO is on the same thread as the UI and I'm working on separating that. it shouldn't cause any corruption, it's just too busy to update the user interface so it just thinks its not responding.
As far as I know it only happens to a PC with 4 GB of RAM or lower, we have to do it one at time (extract OS bar file, close DBBtool, open it again and extract the radio file) when extracting the bar files.

It might be sticking the whole file in RAM?
For example, in Sachesi, you can split/combine an autoloader or extract OS files with only 20MB of RAM available since it doesn't keep more than 4KB in RAM at a time.

It might be xsacha, I've never experienced not responding with Sachesi when extracting the bar files. Only 0% bugs when extracting the bar files, and it's fixed on Sachesi 1.8.2.

Entirely possible, I've more or less left it to the zip library to do the extraction in that case, but if I stream it it'll certainly minimize memory issues. Usually I stick with the completely arbitrary 4MB chunk size so that's entirely doable. Other locations I use streaming, but just not there.

It gives me something to look at and I will look at it.

But, wrong thread. Lets try keep things on topic.

Thanks Usman, although I have 10.3 running on my Z3, it really lags. Apps stutters when I open them and I can't get more than 4 running at the same time without issues. I'll give this a try and report back.

Just want to add, for 1154 actually you only need debrick OS and radio file, core OS not needed for clean install.

Ucee1, you can ignore the 350 MB file (Core OS), you only need the 27 MB file (radio) and the 1.7GB (Debrick OS) file. After you've finished all of them then you can extract both of them using Darcy tool or Sachesi, rename the 1.7GB to OS.signed and the 27 MB to Radio.signed, move both of them inside SIC wipe n load folder and click Run after you have done your backup. Maybe next time you can try the one that Clie610 posted on the first page, download the the Z30 package and change the radio with the Z3 radio and you're ready to go....
