    1) yes. Can't be specific because of NDA.
    2) I guess we'll see, as this is the first beta program opened to people outside of BlackBerry.

Look, I'm not sure why you're arguing about this. It is clear that the non-destructive process causes problems for many (but not necessarily all) people that are immediately solved after a security wipe, or the use of an autoloader. There is absolutely no debating this fact. I have seen it myself 1st hand.

They do manage to clean up most of these update issues by the time the OS is ready for prime time. But with these earlier leaks, it can be a nightmare.

The problem is that you're claiming without providing evidence. There is nothing "clear" here. If there are indeed issues, perhaps pointing out what the problems are and why can help educate people to troubleshoot when and if someone they know unwittingly loads leaked OS in a non-destructive way and asks for help. Hell, I'm pretty sure there are people here who loaded non-destructively and are trying to troubleshoot.

What you're doing is basically making claims and then shoot down anyone asking for evidence, waving your hands saying "It's crystal clear, people! What evidence do you need?"

Evidence is important because we're dealing with technical issue, not something like off-hand remarks or rumors

Evidence?! I don't have notarized documentation or the results of a university-lead study. So I guess you can't be convinced.

Here are at least two examples that have been undeniably linked to non-destructive updating / restoration of previous settings:

    Dark contacts that don't stick.

Notification profiles that either can't be selected or if they can, won't stick.

    I have faced them myself.

I have nothing else to say on the subject. If you don't believe me, that's fine. I wish you your continued good luck.

I see that you have finally tried to tell people of the symptoms, but you really could do with less wordplay and more actual knowledge sharing.

It's a start. Now, if you can tell me why they're "undeniably" linked to non-destructive update, everyone would be happier

Download autoloader. Back up phone. Run exe file of autoloader. Kick back, relax and smoke a fat a$$ sack of the good green.

    End of.

I went from 10.2.1 to 10.3.0 on my Z30 and my wife's Q10 using nondestructive method. Only issue I had was my wife lost one (1) contact. I used sachesi method of core, the apps from debrick and radio file initially, then from 10.3.0 to 10.3.1 using blitz method.

Of course anything wiped clean will minimize issues. But thus far no major issue jump versions . *knock on wood*

I think the most important step is to do a full back up of your device before doing anything. I always make two backups.

Sometimes you just have to say YOLO lol!
