It searches versions found on the Beta, Alpha, and Production servers. If you can download them then they are releases and not leaks.

A leak by definition is something that got out that wasn't intended to be let out. Often times leaked versions end up becoming full releases when BlackBerry makes them publicly available.

For instance 10.3.1.1949 is not publicly downloadable, but a leaked version made it out. You can find that version referenced in the Alpha and Production servers, so you can search it, you just can't download it from BlackBerry.

    Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense, thank you! This is what I've been looking for: releases, not leaks.

    Thanks for the response!

I will caveat my earlier statement to say that once in a blue moon some carrier is testing an OS and it gets accidentally "released" to us mere mortals when it wasn't intended to be. That's how we got one of the 10.3.1.1### versions, because AT&T was testing versions on Passport and it showed up for people randomly. But these are pretty rare.

Along those lines not all releases are great releases. Just because you can download something doesn't mean it is going to run well in your device. That's where double checking what others are experiencing on the CrackBerry forums comes into play. :-)

Yes, of course. Much like when I was toying with hybrids on my 9900.

I'll look to see what seems to work best for the 100-3. Thanks again!

Trying to upgrade my Z10 to the 10.3.1.1154 but because of the lag I decided to wipe clean the device. Entered my bid and created the device p/w and enabled network but sachesi reported an incomplete setup. I didn't install any sim card. Other than that everything is setup AFAIK..any suggestion and help is appreciated.

Kindness is difficult to give away, because it keeps coming back.

Wow.. nothing happened. I asked the program to do a security wipe first, then asked it to do an install. It kept giving me a "you device isn't finished setting up, so it cannot communicate" or something like that.

EDIT: nevermind, once I rebooted the phone a second time everything worked out. Installing a 10.3.1.xxx OS!

I used to have a BB9900, went away to Android and iPhone, but BB was always calling my name... I finally made the jump back to BB with a new Q10 and I'd like to install the 1154 leak. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have a T-Mobile Q10 SQN100-5 that is locked and that I intend to use on the T-Mobile network. I have a Mac OS X but could have access to a PC if I needed. I am trying to install 1154 via Sachesi. I have downloaded the 2.0.0 RC for Mac. I couldn't figure out how to get 1154, so instead I just tried to get whatever 10.3 leak I could find. Under "Search" I have set to Country 302 (Canada) and Carrier 720 (Rogers), search for device "Z30". In the window I see the message "Update 10.3.0.908 available for SQW 100-1! OS: 10.3.0.1418 Radio: 10.3.0.1419". I click "download" and it appears to be installing on my Q10. I can see on my laptop where it has downloaded all of the 10.3.0.908 files.

When it has finished, on the "install" screen I see the following log:

    Connected to MSM8960 V3.2.1.1 N NEWPORT Rev:16 at 169.254.3.41.
    Installing OS: 10.3.0.1418
    Installing Radio: 10.3.0.1419
    Installing 197 .bar(s)..
Communication Error: 205 (Unknown error) from 169.254.3.41
    Connected to MSM8960 V3.2.1.1 N NEWPORT Rev:16 at 169.254.3.41.

However, when I look at my phone it still says that I am running 10.2.1.2156.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here? Thanks!

Dear xsacha, I have a BB Q10 that is stuck on startup (BB hub is not coming past 'preparation' and apps are not accesible).
I have downloaded sachesi 2.0.0.RC+latest files (10.2.1.3062) for the Q10 and tried everything for 2 days. I would have done a backup restore of june 2014 (yes I know... not recent...) but then I would loose alot of photos and they are very important to me
-when I try to acces the storage in the Q10 (through windows 7) the system says 'volumes not mounted'
-Blackberry link doesnt want to connect with the Q10
-Sachesi sees the Q10 (in 'device information') and reeds what files are installed (in 'your applications')
-when i try to back up the media files the connecting is terminated after 10-30% (its about 6gigs of photo material): Sachesi says: This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. 10 pop up screens appear with that message
-when I try to re-install the folder 10.2.1.3062 it says (after some time); communication error/connection closed (the Q10 shows the status bar; Sachesi does not show any status); it says; Installing 157 .bar(s)..; then: Communication Error: 2 (Connection closed) from 169.254.21.41; then Connected to MSM8960 V3.2.1.1 N R085 Rev:16 at 169.254.21.41.
-I tried to remove the Sys.uri.BBHub file form the Q10 through sachesi and re-install it (with bbhub-10.2.1.166-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar); doest work (same messages)

I hope you can help... I only need the pictures form the Q10; the rest I can re install. I would be very gratefull!

    Cheers,

    Friso

This may have already been covered in this thread, but after searching, I couldn't find the specific answer I'm looking for.

    I would like to do a non-destructive downgrade of my Z30 STA100-2 from 10.3.1.2243 to 10.3.0.1418.
I have downloaded the files (Core OS + Apps + Radio) from the direct links generated via Sachesi but I cannot find any instruction as to how to apply these files.
Is it simply a case of dragging and dropping to the Install page and if so, do I need to do all three files simultaneously or is there a recommended sequence?
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Failing that I will have to run an autoloader I guess...

    xsacha,

You have single handedly saved BB from extinction! I use the utility regularly to keep current and it's flawless. Any issues I have are typically caused by me skipping steps.

I have started running a net meter on my PC to keep an eye on things running in the background and trying to communicate with their mother ship. While running an update this morning with Sachesi 2.00 RC I noticed a fair bit of web activity...are you accumulating information during upgrades?

Sounds like the Wallpaper Bar issue that some experience.

Try deleting the offending bar file and reload, or alternatively install with Darcy's Tool which has a fix for the wallpaper bar issue.
